Pros: nice design, okay sound, claims to play MP3 CDs
Cons: very poor radio reception, poor user interface
The Bottom Line: buy something else, and rember to check out radio reception first.

| captpercolator's Full Review: Sony S2 Sports ZS-X3CP CD Boombox |
On the website, this looked like the box I for me. Good looks, plays MP3 CDs, and made by Sony -- which is ussually at the higher end of consumer electronics. After returning the first, I can say that the problems with this box are inherent in the design.
I would be happy if the radio could hold a station with out static. It seems to me that the antenna only screws up the reception. Ack! I know sony can make good recievers, with station lock, and such. for such an expensive box, they could have included one here.
preset buttons would be nice.
The joy stick interface stinks, especially for preset station selection. You can't jump to a favorite channel. Instead you have to tab through your favorites one-by-one.
Wish it had a source in, and why can't they allow recording to cd-r too.
