Pros: Good aspect ratio controls...Good colors...good fit/feel!
Cons: Picture qual is solid on good inputs.and maybe HD but some high light situations.not good
The Bottom Line: Good Solid Value - Good Picture..Could be better? I think so!

Well Here I am...about to finally write a review..I have had my panasonic for about 1 month now..and Im very happy with its overall fit..feel and good colors..It does a good job with most everything - im looking forward to hooking up a HD feed just to see if the one big issue that I have with it will go away.. In high light situations like a football game on a bright day..doesn't look good. Meanwhile i sit here watching the 2003 world series (a night game) and it looks good not the best ...but good. I really have a feeling though that my input (S video directv..) could have something to do with the problem.
I like the inputs - I do wish it had the DVI input but thats optional for my model.. (the comercial version) Some people complain about the lack of inputs but I really don't think its a big deal as long as you have a reciever that has switchable tuner..(most good av recievers do).
So would I do it again? Yes.. Now would I buy the same model? Hmmm....Probably..though the Samsung really looks nice... Maybe I would get the model with speakers (so many have them now!)...On hind sight...one more thing is important..GET the HD!
Oh also of importance - Buy it with your Credit Card..Most good cards like an American Express (check with amex to make sure you have it) will give you an extra 1 year on your warrenty (manufacturers). That will help out alot so you can feel better about not buying the warrenty (like I did).
The stretching of 3:4 to 16:9 really doesn't every get in the way...(I don't think Directv makes it any different that a regular cable - OTA - view) I think thats one of the best things about the TV...
I got a wall mount that Extends out....get it!!! It really is nice.. It adds an additional wow factor and it also helps when your in the kitchen...etc.. I think it was like 400 for "chiefs manufacturing".. - thats the one I bought..Very solid mount!
