Okay my friends, unlike the other guy who just explains the terms and says it is a nice television. I want to tell you how it truly works. The first thing is that it is an expensive, movie theater. Almost 3500.00 with TTL. Add a surround system with DVD and it can run you almost $5000.00 It sets up nice although it is a bit difficult to operate when you turn it on for the first time, as it sets up for your other peripherals. It is a very attractive case and has some nice speakers all by itself built-in including a sub woofer. It can stand alone with or without a surround system, because it comes with it but wait til you hook up your Yamaha to it and add a DVD! NIRVANA! This is what it should have been in the first place. I just thought my old 61 inch Magnavox was good. The pictures and detail are incredible. I spent the first couple of days watching every DVD I could had on it. It plays regular stations well, but when you get to digital signal transmissions it is obvious we are in the twenty first century my friends. I love it. All my friends love it. We have started movie nights for the kids on friday and on Saturday nights it is Grown Up time! I put on Independence day last weekend and charged admission to the neighbors. You have not seen a movie til you watch it on an HDTV set. My wife even likes it although it now dominates the south wall of our house. The thing that made me purchase it was the companys reputation, along with the reliability I have come to expect from the Toshiba product line. Top quality, with all the trimmings.
