Pros: GREAT food, clean and cool locations
Cons: Little pricey for the thrifty
The Bottom Line: Despite the higher prices, if you are going to eat fast food you should never walk in another joint's door!

I'm sure you all are familiar with fast food. It is the greasy, lardy, just bad food that you put up with because A. It's quick (sometimes anyway, depends, usually not if you're at Micky D's) and B. They make it look good so you think maybe it will be. And sure every once in a while you can get some winners with fast food. Maybe those fries really hit the spot, or that fleeting chicken sandwhich that they discontinued with a quickness was the man, but more often it is just not good. So what are you supposed to do if you're not a good cook, or don't have the time, or are sick of microwave dinners (and you're too old for Kid's Cuisine if other people are around). Well I'm here to tell you what to do:
GO TO BOSTON MARKET!
You would be surprised but really barely anyone goes to Boston Market. They get closed down a lot for a fast food joint, and I don't really know why. I started eating here a few years ago and I never looked back!
For starters, the food is absolutely so freaking good that you'll question if it is actually supposed to be fast food. You'll think it can't be, because it is not greasy and it tastes almost gourment, but you're picking it up in a drive thru! BM has wonderful chicken (basically their specialty) and meat, and you'll go crazy for their sandwiches. They call them Carvers, and they have turkey, chicken of course, and meatloaf versions, with new ones every once in a while. They are big sandwiches that will fill you up, best I ever tasted in my life. But then there's sides like the mashed potatoes (so good I tried recreating them at home but you know that didn't happen) and mac and cheese, and garlic dill potatoes. Of course there are the regulars like corn and veggies and stuffing, only done better. It is actually even healthier than most food places, and won't make you feel sick with lard going in your veins. But they do have good sweets too, like brownies and the great corn bread.
The restaurants themselves are even better than most fast food places. They look classier and are generally cleaner. It's actually not too bad to go inside, and usually there's no one there so you get the whole place to yourself! No annoying kids whining for happy meals and toys here.
But there is a down side to the wonderful Boston Market. First of all, you won't find a dollar menu here. Going to Boston Market is actually not good as far as saving money. KFC is on the pricier end of fast food, but this is a little more expensive. If you have a lot of people, the price will go up! But hey come on, it's still cheaper to spend $30 on a family dinner here (if they have a deal) than how much at a regular restaurant? And the food is just as good as some place like TGI Fridays, if not better, which it is!
In closing, Boston Market is the fast food land's best kept secret. Great food, nice places, but a little tough on your wallet if you're trying to be cheap. But it would be good for couples and single people, or a nice alternative to a family night at the Applebees! Hey, do yourself a favor and go to Boston Market's every who and again. You won't regret it!
