I love fastfood. I love chicken sandwiches and french fries. I don't really have a favorite fastfood restaurant, rather, I would like to pick something off of each menu and combine it for the perfect meal.
McDonald's may say they have Americas favorite fries, but they have Sarah's favorite fries! They are so much better than Burger Kings fries. Burger changed their fry recipe. Now there this crunchy coating on them. I liked the sogginess of the old fries. That is why I choose McDonalds fries.
Burger King has better chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets. There seems to be a more flavorful breading. McDonalds always seems to have brown lettuce and I always get the slice of tomato that was too close to the stem and is hard in the center.
I recently ordered off of Burger Kings 99 cent menu. I ordered the chicken tender sanwich and an order of cheese sticks. The chicken sandwich was very good. It was the perfect size, not too big and not too small. There was a lot of mayo on it so it was very sloppy, but you never get a picture perfect sandwich from a fastfood restaurant like they show on TV. The cheese sticks, on the other hand, were kind of soggy. The marinara dipping sauce was very good. Probably better if warm, but it had the most flavor. I probably won't order the cheese sticks again.
There will probably always be the fastfood wars and they will do anything to get you to eat at their restaurant, but I say hey! whats wrong with sharing? A chicken sandwich from Burger King and a large order of McDonalds fries is the perfect fastfood meal for me!!!
Food:
Burger King should never have changed their fry recipe. McDonalds should change their breading on their chicken sandwiches. (Don't eat red meat, so I don't have a comment on either places burgers.)
Service:
What can you say, fast food is sometimes not fast enough, but never really had bad service at either place.
Decor:
My childhood memories are filled with the rides at McDonald restaurants. Burger King never had that.

Burger King is really good about making your sandwich the way you want it. Sometimes McDonalds gets that wrong.
