I've often been told what a great restaurant Red Lobster is, and always looked forward to the day I would be able to try it. I am a seafood lover and my wife, unfortunately, is allergic to seafood. For this reason I always hesitated going. Then some friends invited my wife and I to go with them. They assured us that there was more than seafood there so we accepted. WHAT TOOK US SO LONG?!
This has got to be one of the best chain restaurants there is.
THE MENU: Seafood, steak, chicken, salads, soups and fantastic deserts. What a selection! If you like seafood or if you don't you'll find something to salivate over here.
THE FOOD: WOW!!! Talk about delicious. The food is prepared to perfection. The taste of the food is beyond compare. My favorite? Coconut Shrimp! It's like a combination of seafood and desert. It melts in your mouth and causes your taste buds to celebrate.
THE SERVICE: I've have always been treated with class and dignity at Red Lobster. The servers, hosts, and waiters/waitresses are clean, polite, and personable. They are able and eager to answer any questions about the menu. My experience with them is that on the rare occasion when something was not correct (under/over cooked food, wrong dish, etc.) they were quick to correct the problem and even credit my bill. These people really earn their tips.
THE WAIT: Because of it's enormous popularity there is sometimes up to a half hour wait for seating. As with any popular chain the wait is longer during normal meal hours. If you don't like to wait try to schedule your meal outside of normal hours. (Have lunch at 2:30, dinner at 7:00, etc.)
OVERALL: Try it, you'll love it!
