Pros: I've been all over the country, this place is great to watch a game.
Cons: The only drawbacks are some of the ignorant fans.
The Bottom Line: If you are a die hard football fan, you need to experience this place!

| falfroggie's Full Review: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium |
I have been to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium a few times for Florida vs. LSU, as well as FSU vs. Florida as a neutral fan. I travel all over the country to see great college football games, and atmospheres(especially the SEC). I love the atmosphere, it is electric. The 90,000 plus fans are passionate, but can be quite rude. The rudeness of the fans before and after(unless Florida loses) the game is ridiculous.
If there is one thing I hate is rudeness, and/or ignorance. Not all, but a decent majority of the fans(especially near the student sections , and in the terraces) taunt and sometimes throw cups at fans of the opposing team. Even kids as young as ten years old were using foul language, and yelling profanity. My younger sister came with me last year, and she was scared to the point of calling security. There were other instances where I met some nice people and had normal conversations. But, these were few and far between.
As far as facilities and concessions, they are above average. They don't have a wide variety of food, but it will get you through. If you are looking for vegan...not going to happen. Then again, I don't know many vegans that like football.
If you are thinking of heading to the Swamp, it's probably better to go(as opposing fans) with all males. This is not a place to take your family(opposing fans). On the flip-side, if your a Gator fan, it doesn't get much better than this.
