We Americans are an impatient and unforgiving lot; no airline can possibly please us all. I have flown TACA many times before and have been disappointed on more than one occasion. Flight delays of up to over 24 hours, mechanical difficulties, etc. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary when compared to other major airlines. However, I believe TACA values their client's loyalty far more than the "major 8" in the states. I have never received a refund, but I have received free airfare twice for problems listed above, along with decent treatment by airline personnel. Special dietary needs are met with no trouble. I do now and shall continue flying with TACA and their affiliates, and have recommended the airline to many others.
