Why can't all airlines be like JetBlue?!

Pros: Roomy seats, friendly flight staff, great snack variety, pleasant environment.
Cons: In-flight entertainment doesn't always work. Not enough destination cities.
The Bottom Line: Best value for your money. Champagne service on a beer budget. Comfort and attitude are everything, and JetBlue has it in spades.

My son and I recently flew from Austin to JFK on JetBlue. On our first flight, both the XM and DirecTV were not working for the entire plane. The plane was brand new, and less than 2 months old. It was our first time flying JetBlue, so naturally we were disappointed that we were not able to take full advantage of the amenities. Even without the in-flight entertainment, the flight was fantastic. Customer Service even gave each passenger a $10 credit toward a future flight for the inconvenience.
On our way back, the XM and DirecTV were working for only half of the plane. We happened to get seats in a row were they weren't working. I explained our dilemma to Tim, the flight attendant, that we were first-time fliers on JetBlue, and really wanted the whole JetBlue experience. Tim moved us to a row in the back of the plane where the in-flight entertainment worked, and then took extra special care of us for the duration of the flight. If that weren't enough, Customer Service gave every one on the plane a $15 credit for the inconvenience.
The most wonderful thing, I think, is they treat you like a human being and not a number or a nuisance. If you get hungry during the flight, you can request a cup of instant chicken noodle soup. If you want seconds, they'll give it to you no questions asked. A lot of people don't know that, but it's listed in the JetBlue guide in your seat back.
I have nothing but fantastic things to say about JetBlue, including $25 off our next trip, and am happy to say they have us as customers for life. And if you ever are fortunate to fly with Tim, you are really in for a treat! Tim is the best flight attendant we've ever encountered, and would love to fly with him again. He's awesome!
JetBlue is an all-around class act. I can't say enough great things about them!
