Since the Dawn Princess we have cruised several times. Nothing has matched trip, with the exception of the Love Boat film crew and stars, since. Blocked rest rooms, held elevators (??Stars will hold an elevator for 30 minutes}, constant radio chatter by cast members LOUDLY on their personal walkie talkies, all contributed to our negative personal pleasure. We had no previous warning that Princess had made a deal to take the film crew for a special TV film. Subsequent communications with Princess concerning the film crew met with zero replies.
But there is nothing like morning coffee and rolls on your balcony at 0600, while watching scenery of the inside passage, then dressing for breakfast. Time...end of August, a perfect time for Alaska.
All cruises cater to drinkers, so non-drinkers can get a little bored.
Yes, there are a lot of "blue hairs" on the cruise, but what the heck "blue hairs" have the money to spend, beside we are "blue hairs."
