I love Atlanta, it is the best place to visit in Georgia. They have many things to do there. I just went to Atlanta and I had a great time. It was a wonderful experience.
In Atlanta I went to The CNN center with my family. It was a very educational experience. They showed us some of the prices of the auctions that they auction off. They told us that an anonymous buyer bought the ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz for $300,000.00. That is a lot of money to spend on a pair of shoes! Then we took a tour of the building. At the CNN center they had the biggest escalator in the US. It was 10 stories tall! Then they showed us how they did the storm warning picture on the weather channel. It was neat to know how they did it. Then they showed us the room with all the reporters in it getting stories to report. Their were computers all over the place with headlines typed all over them. The guide explained that this was the room that they did all the big stories in. After that it was time to leave the CNN center.
We then went to a place called "Underground Atlanta". It was like an underground city. They had everything like novelty shops, candy stores, and restaurants all underground. It was amazing how they could get all this stuff underground. We saw a magic show that was pretty good and they had a clown making animal balloons. I got a parrot that sat on my shoulder. We shopped a while and had fun. Then we had to leave and we got lost in the parking garage looking for our car. We finally found it and then left to our next stop.
We then went to the Coca-Cola factory and took a tour there. We saw a machine that was bottling Coke. It was pretty cool. It was a big assembly line with a machine that filled up the bottles and then capped them. We then watched an educational video that they offered about the history of Coke and the products that mimicked Coke like King Cola. We walked by a chart that showed how many Cokes have been drank since Coca-Cola opened. We then went to the best part of the Coca-Cola factory. It was where you could sample all the Coke you wanted and drink as much as you wanted. They had a machine that would shoot Coke across the room and into your cup. They also had a line of different fountain sodas that you could try that were from different countries like Spain and Italy. I tried to try all of them. The worst one was Beverly it tasted like cough syrup. I tricked my friends into trying it and they all gagged. This old man asked me if I got my friends to drink Beverly. I said yes and he said "Your not a very good friend then (laughing)." We were about to leave and we were all sad to go. On the way out we were joking saying what if a guy that worked here brought in a Pepsi product.
We all loved it and wanted to go back soon. This is a great place for a family trip and I would recommend it to everyone going down south on a vacation.
