Being that I was born and raised in Vermont I really appreciate the beautiful scenery and friendly atmosphere. Burlington has got to be one of the nicest places to visit. From downtown, to the fairies there is just something in the air.
In downtown Burlington there is a street called Church Street which has beautifully architectured art and some of the most interesting shops to visit. You can access a mall that is setup so that the main part of it is underground. I really enjoy shopping there.
The fairy goes out of the docks a few times a day and what a beautiful ride! If you go all the way over to New York State your looking at approximately a three hour ride, but it is so worth it. The rolling mountain sides that touch the river banks are breath taking!
Oh yeah and while you're in Burlington, don't forget Al's! The best burger joint in I'm betting the world. They have been serving fries every since I can remember and they're still just as good as the first day I tried them!
