The Park is a Thrill Ride!

Islands of Adventures! When I found out the Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster ride was there, I had to go! It was absolutely fantastic. They weren't kidding when they say you blast off with the force of an F16 fighter jet! I don't know of any other roller coaster in the world where you are thrust out of a "chute" right into a corkscrew and loop after loop until it ends. I went in January 2K and the lines were soooo short it seemed like we had the whole park to ourselves.
The twin/double dragon roller coaster ride was very thrilling also. I can't believe I paid to experience such terror! Phew...my heart beat went haywire just thinking about it. This one is a suspended coaster ride (there's two of them-red/fire & blue/ice)that races each other. I can't describe in mere words what I was feeling when I was tossed every which way on this ride, looping through the tracks of the other roller coaster only to reach the last leg of the ride where the two roller coasters race towards each other as if to crash only to pull up and away 2 feet from each other! I was in stark terror - so cool!
The Dr. Seuss World was a pleasant surprise and photo op as I really enjoyed Green Eggs & Ham with Sam I Am :)
The Spiderman ride broke down just as we got towards the front. We waited what seemed like 30 minutes (after already waiting 15 min. in line)and almost gave up. It was worth the wait. Cool 3D effects.
The Dr. Doom drop ride was a bit disappointing. It shoots you up then you kind of float down on hydraulics.
This was a fantastic thrill ride park - a great compliment to it's neighbor Universal Studios. Too bad you have to pay separate admission (unless you fork out $$$ for the dual park pass).
Citywalk was nice to visit at night but everything was so spread out (used to things crammed together in San Francisco).
If you're a thrill ride fanatic, you'll love this place. If not, then go next door to Universal Studios.
