Thanks for the great information on the zoo. I was in San Diego recently and even at Balboa park. Unfortunately it was too late in the day to make a visit to the zoo worth the admission price. I'm dying to go back!

Thank you for the great epinion... I am also very fond of the SD zoo (but actually the Wild Animal Park in Escondido is my favorite!)we are moving back to the area this summer and your Epinion got me in the mood! Thanks, Susan

From the sound of this review, I can understand why the San Diego Zoo is world famous and held in such universally high regard. Now that I live in California, perhaps I can make my way down to San Diego and finally see this wonder, which is obviously worth the trip.
