Cons: Accessibility. The road to Whistler is an adventure. Do the speed limit...please!
The Bottom Line: If you don't want to die wondering what it was like to ride the best mountains in the world, visit Whistler. A trip out there will never disappoint.

| hockeyrulz's Full Review: Whistler-Blackcomb |
With 200+ runs, Whistler/Blackcomb is truly number one. It's organization is beyond compare. With full service villages at the base of both mountains (which are side by side) it is easy to find what you need. There are approximately 30% beginner runs, so the mountains appeal to everybody. For the experts, I suggest the "Peak to Creek" run on Whistler mountain. Give yourself about 25 min. to get down. Enjoy a beverage at Dusty's, or get right back on the lift, and do it again. For best powder, visit them in January, February, or March. The full mountain is open from late November to mid April. The Apres-ski in Whistler is awesome! Bars, restaurants, activities, stores, Whistler/Blackcomb has it all. If you need a day off the slopes, try dog-sledding, snow-mobiling, or just visit your hot tub after shopping. For the ultimate riding thrill, visit the top of Blackcomb mountain, and take a trip over Spanky's Ladder...see you when you get down! Also, keep an eye out for live bands in the village. Whistler/Blackcomb have festivals nearly every weekend.
