Intro...Thanks Epinions :)
Before going to Blue Man Group: Tubes I read many reviews on Epionions and it seemed the over whelming majority of you guys liked it. And I have to say I absolutely agree. The show was the most exciting and intense shows I have ever seen on or Off-Broadway. For more information visit the blue mans official website wwww.blueman.com

The Theater......Nothing to say except I loved it.
The theater is very nice. From the outside you would never expect a little theater could hold such a huge show, but they figured out how to cram it in there. I saw a few reviews that complained about the theater being too small or cramped. I did not feel it was cramped at all. It wasn't extremely small. It was a good size. I believe it holds just under 300 people. but it seems like much less. I think the theater is just the right size so it feels like you actually get to personally know the blue men. I was in the front row. If you like toilet paper sit in the front row. If you like gumballs sit in seat 111 in row AA.(Astor Place)

Comedy... I loved the signs in the beginning
The signs say who has overdue credit card bills and headaches and it somehow relates to well... cows. It?s very funny when they invite someone up and have a meal with them. Its very amusing to see how the Blue Man reacts to the way a human eats... Twinkies and the way they shake those Twinkies just has to make you laugh. Oh yea... you will never look at a marshmallow or a Twinkie the same way a
again.

The Music... The music was wonderful.
It was percussion mostly but the band also played some other instruments. They play the drums at amazing paces and very fast speeds. They mix sounds with visuals to amuse all the senses so you won't be left watching some guy drum. There is a 4 or 5 piece band that is put above the stage. In the beginning the music can be a little loud but you get used to it rather quickly. I would recommend bringing 30-decibel earplugs, just incase. Since I was in the front my legs were right next to the base speaker which is inside the stage. As the bass speaker boomed, it would pull and push on my jeans and poncho.( You are required to where a pancho if you sit in the first 5 rows.)All I could say is I wish I had that stereo system in my room. I think the walls might fall down though.

The lighting... The most amazing part of the show.
I have to say that Matthew McCarthy, the lighting designer, did an amazing job on this set. In some parts of the show regular white bulbs are used. Other times the blue man glow and things turn neon. The Theater is also covered in Black lights that are used throughout the performance, and quite a lot at the end of the show. I have to warn you that strobe lights are used in the end of the performance. If you don't know what strobe lights are, they are an extremely bright light that flashes between 1-20 milliseconds. It forms a very dizzying effect. It makes it hard to comprehend what you are seeing, and to even think or move. Everything also appears to move in ultra slow motion. I assume the blue men must have gone through some kind of practice or training to be able to walk and move around with out falling down. Black lights turn everything that is white purple. If you get dizzy during this part of the show, during the strobe lights i just recommend closing your eyes. If you are in the front row that is not really an option. If you do you will probably suffocate from toilet paper.

Ah.. The Finale... Amazing.
In the finale as you have heard there is a never ending cascade of toilet paper, paper towel, and streamers, and some other sizes in-between. The closer to the front you are the more toilet paper you get. In the front row it accumulated to about 3 feet of toilet paper. Luckily it is near the end of the show so you don't over heat. It gets quite hot under 3 feet of toilet paper. They use over 1 mile of toilet paper per show, just imagine how many... just kidding :) As I mentioned before strobe lights are used, they just bring you into a totally different world, where anything is possible, a blue party world.
