Watch Out For Those Salespeople!

Pros: Great Equipment, Great Facilities, Open 24 hours(Most Are), Good Selection of Equipment.
Cons: Pushy salespeople that have only 1 thing on their mind....MONEY!!
The Bottom Line: Comparable to other health clubs.

24 Hour has great equipment, that is top of the line. Is in good shape, and the facilities are nice and up keep is good! Another good thing is they are open 24 hours a day, well I guess that has changed, some club are not open 24 hours a day anymore! My question is what are they going to do for the people that when they joined, the salesperson told them that ALL clubs are opened 24 hours a day, adding more everyday, you will NEVER have to worry about us not being open 24 Hours a day!
The sales people or "Fitness Counselor" same thing! These people are snakes! They will do anything to get your money, they will act like they care, talk to you about training, have a "PROFESSIONAL" come over and talk to you about training, making it look like they really care. After they have your money, that is all they care about. They are not afraid to tell little white lies, or even make empty promises. It doesn't matter to them, they still get paid, even if you decide to cancel. Its amazing to me how many of my friends have went to check on membership prices, and they said "Make sure you decide today, because this is a special deal and it ends tonight. It will NEVER be this low EVER" and then 1 month down the road they get a better deal than what they where originally quoted.
Like I said they have great facilities, but just watch out for the salespeople! Here are a few pointers before you buy:
1)Shop around. 2)Take a copy of the agreement home with you, read it over. 3)Talk to friends that are members or former members. 4)If they promise you something, ask them to write it on the agreement in ink, and then see what they say? 5)Ask a lot of questions, if you can, go to other 24 Hour fitness clubs in the area. Don't tell them you have already been to other 24 hour fitness clubs, and check to see if everything is consistent? 6)If you really want a deal, try buying your membership at a PRESALE SITE(A site that is not fully open yet).
Be careful.....Most of the salesman at 24 Hour are not Honest people! They have one thing on their mind and that is money, and they will do anything to get your money!
