| MrsManners862's Full Review: Bally Total Fitness |
As one time fitness instructor, I had become accustomed to working out at some fabulous fitness and wellness centers for free in a variety of cities. Being in demand has its privileges.
I did arrive with my credentials as a fitness instructor not because I wanted a job, but because I did not want to hear the sales pitch. Nor was I interested in personal training and all the other garbage they try to hook you, into spending additional money for those services YOU NEED.
I was only interested in the nuts and bolts. How much? ??? After a tour of the facility. I agreed to the Premium Membership. No pills, no frills and no money down was the promotion I responded to. However, I did like the ability to visit any Bally in any city. I could not believe that aerobics classes were not included in the membership fees. At $2.00 a class I have no intention on attending.
The good points...
I love the fact that they have so many machines I can vary my workout. I have never had to wait for a machine and I prefer to workout in the early morning like 5:30 am. When I have gone to the gym in the evening or after. Yes, it is crowded but it is always crowded. Fellow members are friendly and well mannered. the maintenance staff are always on the ball. The woman's locker room is pretty clean. I use the shower daily. So that is a must. If I have any question about my membership or a concern and or suggestion there is always someone available.
Sight seeing is awesome.
