Pros: clean facility, plenty of equipment
Cons: Everything! - Customer service, faulty equipment, poorly educated trainers, overpriced gear and protein shakes
The Bottom Line: If there are other gyms in your area, please consider them first. As a last resort, go running in your neighborhood instead of here.

I joined Golds Gym when I relocated due to a new job. I had been at two previous clubs and never had a problem. I should have known from day one there would be problems when they lost my credit card info. Not exactly something you want anyone to lose. The facility was clean and well kept, but otherwise, there is horrible customer service and they are trying to nickel and dime you every step of the way. The personal trainers didn't seem to have any more knowledge than I already had concerning my workout regime and I had numerous appointments canceled and nothing was ever rescheduled. A week before my membership was up, I sent a letter notifying them I would like to cancel and I enclosed a check for the last months payment. They cashed the check and then never cancelled my membership! When I called to complain, they said that I must not have sent them in the same envelope. This place is ridiculous! I spoke to someone in their corporate office and they assured me my membership would be canceled, 2 months later, still nothing. I ended up paying 6 more months for a membership I wasn't even using.
