Maybe the problem on this round was you? (Reply to this comment)
by rookie35m
This is not rocket science. You eat less calories and you exercise a little and you lose weight. You mentioned you lost 20 lbs the first time on the program. What would have changed to cause you to not have a similar loss this time? The JC meals taste excellent. i am a very discerning food critic. I think every restaurant chain from Red Lobster to Olive Garden serves crap. Perhaps your taste buds are tainted from eating a diet high in sodium and fat. Yeah that stuff tastes much better to some but it takes away your quality of life with every bite. Sorry, I read your review as bogus. Jenny Craig offers nutritional meals that taste good for prepackaged foods and its laid out for you. Simplicity costs money. For $80 per week you get every meal. The people that complain about price are the ones that are used to grabbin an Egg McMuffin for breakfast, snacking all day from a vending machine and then having a BK Broiler super sized meal at 7 pm. You have to be motivated to lose weight and JC teaches you portion control. No, I am not affiliated with JC. I am a 40 year old bodybuilder that got out of shape and JC made it easy to snap back into shape.

NO THANKS! I prefer to eat right, exercise, and stay healthy. I am 123 pounds, 5'5" and don't ever want to take ephedra. For me, the best way to stay fit is to live fit.

Only 1,000 calories a day?!? (Reply to this comment)

Jenny Craig is such a scam...I really enjoyed your review of the RAH program. I'm a moderator of a weight-loss forum and you would not believe how many people get totally offended when I make a negative comment about JC, Slim-Fast, etc. It's like I'm personally attacking THEM. The beauty for JC and programs like this is that inevitably, the dieter can't stay with such an unrealistic program and ends up blaming herself rather than the program - then after awhile they try again! Good for you for getting off that rollercoaster. Take care!

Good question about the 2nd star! I am assuming that other crash type diets are worse than this one despite all the bad luck I had. At least they encourage vitamins and eatng rather than fasting or drugs but you may be right...one star would be more appropriate!

They make you dependent on their program! I am so glad you are finding success elsewhere! Good luck and thank you for a very informative and well written review!

Why did they get the honor of the 2nd star?

That's terrible...Jenny Craig should be shut down and their door should be padlocked. So many of these "diets' are just recipes for disasters. Glas to hear you are feeling better.
