Pros: Rides like a car, carries like a truck. Honda quality and engineering. Cons: Visibility is tough to the rear, high enough that cleaning the windshild is a chore. The Bottom Line: This is a good vehicle for the avarage homeowner. Retains a great ride while alowing large/heavy items to be hauled. 4WD too. Honda quality and value don't hurt either.
I owned a 03 Accord before the purchase of a used Ridgeline (2006). My good experience with the Accord was a huge factor in looking at the Ridgline. First was the fact that the Ridgeline had MORE accessories and bells and ...

Pros: In-bed trunk, split folding rear seat, Honda reliability, too many others to list Cons: Bed could be maybe another foot longer, a V-8 would be a nice option The Bottom Line: Unless you need heavy duty towing, this is your best bet for a truck. It has and does what others don't.
This was Honda's first crack at building a truck for the US market. My opinion after nearly a year of ownership...it absolutely blows away the competition. We have to travel about an hour to the nearest Costco. While there, we often go to other ...

Pros: Refined everything. Fit and finish! Ride! Cons: None The Bottom Line: You owe it to yourself to drive one of these vehicles if you are considering either a SUV or Pickup. The product is first class in every manner.
I made the decision to purchase a new vehicle. I considered almost every auto available. The price was not really a factor. I wanted an SUV of some type and had owned pickups for almost 20 years. I also own Mercedes cars and really like them. I drove the ...

Pros: Great ride, excellent HVAC system, handles great even when loaded. Cons: It isn't a hybrid, maybe someday. The Bottom Line: There is no truck on the market with this ride, in this size and still maintaining this utility.
The Ridgeline is an excellent vehicle, and when you take the effort to really compare feature for feature, the Ridgeline is well priced for the vehicle you get. My Ridgeline has served me well for bringing home the 500lb cabinet table saw I bought, ...

Pros: Compartment Space, Loaded, Big trunk, Luxury drive, Reliability, Resale Value, CR Recommended Cons: None. Absolutely NONE! The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Honda Ridgeline for it's Reliability, Comfort, Storage Space, Luxury Ride, Many Extra Features, Large Hidden Trunk, 5 Star Safety Rating, and Consumer Report Opinion.
I bought a 2006 Ridgeline RTL recently. I traded in my 2004 GMC Envoy XUV which I thought I would never do, until things started going wrong with it after the warranty expired. The Ridgeline that I purchased has 35,000 miles on it and looks and drives ...

Pros: Comfort, available options (Nav system, 6 CD changer, leather seating) Cons: Heating and A/C system could be laid out better. The Bottom Line: Bottom line - drives like a car, yet can haul a reasonable amount. Pricing is reasonable and gas mileage is as good as advertised. Overall - I am impressed.
Well, I never thought I would do this, but I purchased a Japanese car (or should I say truck). Just purchased a 2006 Honda Ridgeline, and so far I love it. I started a new job (that would include a great deal of driving) and needed to decide truck ...

Pros: Stylish with functionality Cons: I'm to modest to be asked about the price. The Bottom Line: Love the truck...Its really a great adult toy with a lot of real functionality.
I'm 35 and from the ages of 16 I've driven everything under the sun. First car was a Honda and I've had about 10 to 12 since between my wife and I. I've always said that when Honda makes a pick up that I'm going to buy it. This truck is comfortable ...

Pros: Roomy and the in bed trunk is off da chain!!! Cons: Limited aftermarket wheel selection.
I've been a Honda owner for years(Accords)but after purchasing my new home I really needed a pickup truck! What other option could I have, THE RIDGELINE! Wonderful truck and gas mileage isn't as bad as other reviews states since this IS a truck! Try driving an Escalade or Tahoe! Anyway almost everything about the truck I love other than finding aftermarket affordable gear! Since this truck is still pretty new, cannot find many wheels that can fit this truck. Also trying to find someone to build a custom subwoofer box and amp placement on this is a beast! But I definitely recommend this truck to anyone.

Pros: Smooth riding, agile, versatile, spacious, and safe. Cons: 16/21 fuel consumption could be better.
I've been driving since 1957 and have owned cars from Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Jeep and my Honda Ridgeline is not only my first truck, it's the best vehicle I've ever owned.
It's beautifully designed, rugged, smooth riding, full of features like front and side airbags, below-bed trunk, great sound system, and dual climate controls.

Pros: Smooth, quiet, comfortable, good power, It's a Honda, minimal body roll. Cons: None yet!
Bought a Ridgeline in Aug '05. I have over 10,000 miles on it so far with absolutely no problems. It drives smooth, is quiet and very roomy. My only complaint is that I can't afford another one. My wife keeps taking it!!
The truck is a great all around vehicle with the in bed trunk and swing gate tail gate. Honda always seems to make a good reliable vehicle. I put Amsoil synthetic oil and a by-pass filter in mine too. (www.ny-synthetic.com) Amsoil is the perfect compliment to a great truck.

Pros: Great ride great looks great trunk Cons: Some mild rattles
I did not expect to buy this truck, I owned a nissan pick-up that was bullet proof and fully intended to buy another one. My mind was changed with one test drive, awesome ride, awesome handling, awesome looks,(I think anyway)very good gas mileage, and a killer trunk. If you have a need this truck can fulfill it, I've sampled some of its off road prowess and found it be just right for the type of playing I do. I do have a few niggles, the visors rattle some and the transmission downshift on slight uphill grades. I have 9800 miles on it now and still totally love it. If you are in the market for a new truck I encourage you to give the Ridgeline a look and take your wife, she will beg you to buy it.

Great Truck!

Pros: Comfortable car like ride, the trunk in the bed, stability control. Cons: None so far.
I had a Dodge Dakota extended cab and besides the terrible gas milage, I needed a four door truck for my business.
I test drove them all, and the Ridgeline was by FAR the best riding truck out there in my opinion. The back seat has plenty of room for 2 people... 3 in a pinch.
And the trunk! It's HUGE! I can carry all my tools, groceries, (or whatever) someplace other than in the back seat now. A nice little feature is that the trunk has a drain hole so if you wanted to you could fill up the trunk with ice and fill it full of your favorite beverage. Just unscrew the drain plug when you're done and all the water drains right out.
This truck rides more like a car. Smooth. Handles dips and RR tracks very well.
The 6 cylinder has plenty of pick-up and good torque. It's not a hemi though!
I haven't determined the gas milage yet, but after a month or so of break-in I'll revise this post with my results.

2006 Ridgeline - 1 yr later

Pros: Interior space, trunk storage, power, riding comfort. Cons: Driver leg room, placement of light switch, gas mileage
I've had my Ridgeline for a year now and have put 12,000 miles on it. Overall, it's been a good truck. Interior cab room is good, trunk storage is great, power/pick-up has been good, etc. Mileage has been in the 17-19 mpg range.
My only complaints:
- I am 6'0" tall. My knee conveniently hits the on/off light switch periodically when I enter/exit the truck. This is pretty aggravating. Not sure why Honda didn't put the light switch on the steering column in the same fashion as the Odyssey. (Now, I not only bang my knee occasionally on the lights, I sometimes flip on the wipers thinking it's the light switch.)
- The driver seat doesn't slide back far enough. Maybe it's my imagination, but I'd swear I have more leg room in the Odyssey. Honda should have designed the driver seat to slide back an inch or two further.
Also, I just started hearing a slight whine coming from the heat/AC fan in the dash. Will take it into the shop to get fixed.

After 14,000 miles and 8 months I still love this truck

Pros: Fun to drive, extremely versatile, roomy and very safe. Cons: Visibility in back could be better. I'm getting the backup sensor.
This is an extremely safe, comfortable and above all versatile vehicle.
I use my truck to safely and comfortably car pool 35 miles to work and on weekends I use it to access the great outdoors to get to hiking trails and cross country skiing trails. I also have hauled many loads of building material and landscaping products to build and maintain my home. All this the Ridgeline does extremely well.
For the 8 months and 14,000 miles I've owned this truck I've grown to love it more and more. I consistently average 22.8 mpg which beats the SUV and truck I owned before I bought my Ridgeline. I love that I have replaced TWO vehicle with ONE that does what my two vehicle could do but does it BETTER!!!

Awesome TRUCK

Pros: Great handling, solid construction, excellent reliability, high quality fit and finish Cons: Gas mileage is average
Having owned many GM and Ford trucks, I have found my Ridgeline to be the best. It is solidly built and handles like a dream. In snow and ice, stability is excellent. I have found that I do not need to put sandbags in the back to maintain control in the winter. After the first month everything works great. The biggest problem with my former Chevy trucks is that they were always in the shop having work done. I have not found this to be the case with my Ridgeline. The fit and finish is excellent. My driving experience is like no other truck. It is very smooth and solid. You get none of the bounce in cornering like in a more conventional truck. The bed payload is higher that my Ford Ranger and similar to my Chevy C-10. For anyone looking to buy a truck for a daily driver you could not go wrong with the Honda Ridgeline
