Pros: Satisfying ride-and-handling balance, good rear-seat space, straightforward control layout. Cons: Clunky shifter and clutch, downmarket interior, relatively narrow powerband, limited driver involvement. The Bottom Line: More fun a standard Mazda 6? Absolutely. But next to the Subaru Legacy GT, BMW 325i, and others, the Mazdaspeed 6 offers few outstanding qualities.
Background The automotive industry is as susceptible to fads as any other. While clothing designers grapple over the new black, automakers bustle to deliver the latest in four-wheeled fashion: muscle cars, crossover SUVs, hybrids, and ...

Pros: Quick and corners with little lean Cons: Simply doesn't look or feel special, could use better seats The Bottom Line: My head says I should recommend this car, so I do. But my heart isn't in it.
The turbocharged all-wheel-drive MazdaSpeed6 has been a long time coming, and an even longer time coming to this space. It was delayed four or five months for some last minute tweaking, most notably a steeper final drive ratio to improve off-the-line ...

Pros: Great torque and engine sound, solid brakes, sleeper-sedan looks. Premium features at affordable price. Cons: Clutch, clutch, clutch! Oddball wheels, subpar sound system with no mp3 compatibility. The Bottom Line: The MazdaSpeed 6 is the MazdaSpeed for grown ups, yet it will at every turn remind you exactly how much you miss being a reckless kid.
The marketing folks over at Mazda would have us believe that the MazdaSpeed6 is meant for folks that were a little to old to be playing around with a MazdaSpeed Protege but too young and fun to graduate to a Toyota Camry. For the most part, they're ...

Pros: Fast, fun to drive. Quite roomy for a sports car.
Cons: Reliability is unbelievably bad. A constant stream of new and exciting problems! The Bottom Line: Mazda - where has your quality gone? Everything about this car seems to fail.

Pros: Very, very fast. Good sound system. Roomy Cons: clutch. Rough ride. The Bottom Line: Bargain and steal one from the dealer. It is worth alot more than they are asking.
I am now in possesion of a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6, which I have leased for 24 months. This car is unbelievable!!! 1st off, if you go between dealers and haggle, they will give them away. I was given a family discount for mine!! (sticker over 28k, lease ...

Pros: Great performance Cons: Mazda North America stinks...
22-23 MPG
The Bottom Line: Buy something else because of the fact that it has out of
the box problems, and you'll be struggling with Mazda to
fix them...
As a long time Mazda owner and the owner of a 2004 Mazda 6 V6/5speed, traded in at 60K miles for this 2006 MazdaSpeed6, I have a couple of things to say. The MS6 I own is a piece of junk that has had rear end whine since 1100 miles, has chewed up 2 sets ...

Pros: SLEEK STYLING, THROTTLE RESPONCE AT MIDRANGE RPM IS AMAZING, NICE INTERIOR LAY OUT. STEREO OK Cons: REAR END SETS UP TOO HIGH, QUICK AND CLUTCH IS TOO TEDIOUS The Bottom Line: YES, ITS A WELL ROUNDED CAR BUT LACKS TOP END POWER AND NEEDS A OWER STANCE IN REAR, AND WIDER RIMS AND TIRES
I OWN ONE. VERY SATISFIED. BUT LETS BE HONEST FOR THE PRICE, I WANT 330 HORSEPOWER AT AMINIMUM, AND A TALLER 6TH GEAR. THE GAS MILEAGE SUCKS IN THIS CAR. AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, COULD A CAR MANUFACTURER PLEASE LEVEL OUT THE REAR END TO THE ...
