Pros: Fuel efficient. Handling. Seems solid and dependable. Cons: Some comfort and space issues. Acceleration when using A/C. The Bottom Line: I think the Ford Focus is a solidly built car. It has some short-comings that are common in compact automobiles, but overall seems like a good choice.
I recently rented a 2007 Ford Focus and was pleasantly surprised when I liked the vehicle more than expected. While the Focus is a modest automobile with no extraordinary features, it did provide me with reliable transportation, good handling, and low ...

Pros: Under $14,000, nice handling, large trunk Cons: Loud, obnoxious turn signals, road noise The Bottom Line: Despite loud engine noise, this car handles nicely. Since this car is inexpensive, I can look past some imperfections. However, a few minor upgrades could make this car more appealing!
I rented a 2007 Ford Focus SE when my RAV4 went into the body shop for some repairs after a minor accident. With gas prices being so high, I didn't complain that the insurance company didn't offer me a vehicle comparable to my own. I was happy to get a ...

Pros: Rear passenger room is comparable to front, MP3 compatible CD player, LOTS of cupholders Cons: Tall passengers/drivers not particularly welcomed, no center armrest, slow acceleration when AC is on The Bottom Line: Tall drivers/passengers will find the Focus hard to drive and sit in. Fuel economy is slightly below average, but acceleration is average. Build quality and reliability are above average.

Pros: Comfortable, A lot of nice bells and whistles, ? Safe?, Drives smooth Cons: No Traction Control, VERY Light, Terrible gas mileage, Low environmental rating, Accelerates poorly The Bottom Line: Blah, this automobile is way behind the times and I am quite happy to be rid of it after two weeks of being condemned to one!
I am not a reviewer for "Car And Driver" Magazine. I'm not big into cars, they are not my passion, I'm not an expert on how they work. I drive cars. And, alas, I occasionally get them into accidents. Such is what happened to my poor Boopsie. ...

Pros: Cost, options available, cost, cost and cost! Cons: For the money, there really isn't any Cons to list The Bottom Line: For the money it cost to buy and operate, this is a great purchase.
My wife and I purchased a 2007 Ford Focus 3 door model a couple months ago. I would prefer a larger car, but she loves smaller cars that are economical and reliable. We did our market research, and for the money we kept coming back to the Focus. ...

Pros: Sporty, Fuel Economy, Sound System… Cons: 4-Banger sometimes feels a little weak… The Bottom Line: A quality vehicle, that is very underrated as too small, wimpy or something like that...
When my dad bought this, I thought he was merely buying a vehicle to get from A to B. What I didn’t realize is that this is a blast to drive! No kidding! Of course having the 5-speed manual helps, but even with the auto you can have some fun hugging some ...

Pros: Strong A/C and Heating, decent fuel economy, large trunk in the sedan Cons: Terrible performance, rough engine, awkward automatic shifter, outdated appearance, rental car feel The Bottom Line: Unless you can pick one up for $4,000 off MSRP, buy something else!
I had the opportunity to drive a 2007 Focus for three days while my wife's Mazda6 was getting serviced. This was a loaner car provided by the Mazda dealer, so it didn't cost me a dime. This is a good thing. The first thing that struck me was how ...

Pros: Good trunk space, handling, fuel economy. Cons: Automatic transmission had a small problem. Got it fixed under warranty. The Bottom Line: This car suits any lifestyle!
My husband and I purchased this car last year in January. It's a good running vehicle. Very few problems. Fun to drive. We were looking for a car because we were pregnant. We needed a car that was reliable, had lots of room, and enough trunk ...

Pros: Inexpensive to drive and own; good handling, nice looking. A real bargain with $4000 off! Cons: Haven't found any cons yet with over 2,500 miles on each new vehicle so far. The Bottom Line: For the money and the quality of the ride and workmanship, these two Focus models are definitely keepers! We are very pleased with our purchase, transaction and delivered product!
My wife and I were looking to get out of our 2004 Ford Freestar minivan, which we loved dearly (except for the huge payment and the 22 MPG with gas now $3/gallon). We went online to Fordvehicles.com and found dealers with 2007 inventory in stock near ...

Pros: Very economical, fast, stylish looks, quite roomy, good value for money. Cons: Noisy when cold or at low speeds, nothing else! The Bottom Line: This is my third Focus, always satisfied with the car, a good safe reliable family car.
This is my 3rd Focus, two of which had petrol engines (I live in the UK)and my present one which has a diesel engine. All three cars were of excellent quality, although not entirely without fault. The first one had a faulty exhaust, the second one was very ...

Pros: ride, handling, control, ergonomic seating and simple layout, more room than competitors. Cons: interior materials, cup-holder, mediocre dealer service The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Ford Focus to everyone for its above average build-quality and exceptional driving dynamics, styling, and room.
Having visited the dealer and test driven the Focus 3 times, I can't help but start to doubt the popular conception that Japanese cars are better. Why did I test drive the Focus 3 times? Because I was interested in buying one and now own one. The Focus ...

Pros: Fuel efficiency, comfortable seats, smooth ride Cons: Trunk is a little small. But, what can you expect? The Bottom Line: Great car for commuting. Smooth ride and good fuel economy.
When my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Classic was ready to be traded in, I decided to try a Ford. Because this was the first brand new vehicle I had purchased, I was unsure what to expect. First, my purchase was completely stress-free. The sales person was ...

Pros: Price, mileage, style, American Made, comfortable seats, smooth ride, acceleration, and ULEV. Cons: No 5 speed auto option. The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the '07 Focus. It has great economy, ULEV, smooth ride, comfortable seats, fun to drive and USA made.
We bought our 07' Focus after looking at practically every other car in and around it's class. This vehicle has plenty of pep, first tank we got 30.2 mpg, it has a sporty feel, great looks and is easy on a person with a bad back. Toyota is riding on ...

Pros: Ease of entry, very roomy for a supposedly small car. Cons: It feels a little underpowered, but seems to perform well. The Bottom Line: Fits our needs as good as any car we've ever owned, we will update in the future!
After much research we found this to be an almost perfect car for our needs. I am 79 and getting a little stiff in the back, also at 5' 8" and a wife of 4' 10", the vertical seat adjustment is almost a necessity. It could use a power vertical drivers ...

Pros: Gets up and gos; easily modified; great on gas. Cons: This car isn't for those who like bigger vehicles. The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a car that's dependable, great on gas, and gets you where you're going, then the 2007 Ford Focus is for you.
The Ford Focus may look pretty plain by may people, but this little car is tough! My husband had a black 2007 Ford Focus ZX3 that he absolutely loved, but unfortunately, he got into a pretty bad accident with it. He hit a stopped semi at fifty-five miles ...
