Pros: Excellent crash ratings, fuel economy, sport suspension, interior, and open sky system Cons: Pricey options, AudiCare is no longer included with the purchase. The Bottom Line: An A3 with Premium or S-Line Package, Open Sky, Heated Seats, and Bi-Xenons is a great car at the $30k mark.
The car search that led to the purchase of the A3 explains well why this car is the most underrated on the road in the US these days. With the birth of our first child, my wife wanted a car which received high marks all around on safety, gets better ...

Pros: Solid teutonic commuter with nice amenities and room for four adults Cons: For long highway hauls (150+ miles), stick to an A4. The Bottom Line: Nearly perfect combination. Suspension could stand to be softened slightly for less busy mannerisms for long distance (150 mile) high speed highway cruising.
Finally, my wife let me drive her new car, a 2008 A3. She's driven Audis since 1990; this is her third one (1990 80, 2000 A4, 2008 A3). My daily driver is a 2002 Mercedes C230K Coupe (stick) and the family toy car is a 1985 Porsche 911. Der ...

Pros: Great suspension, transmission, seats, sound system, steering and techs. A magnificent car. Cons: Sirius satellite is AWFUL! Can't delete phone entries. IPod control is very limited. The Bottom Line: I've given several friends test drives and they're all blown away.
I've owned a lot of great cars: a few BMWs, a couple of Mercs and a few Lexus. But my favorites are my 2006 A4 Convertible and my new 2008 A3 2.0T Sportsline. The performance is amazing on winding mountain roads or on open highway. Solid feel. Great ...

Pros: Simple, Stylish, Speedy and Sexy! Cons: Trunk space - golfclubs don't fit sideways! Multi-zone climate control.
You must splurge just that little bit more for the S Line. The paddle shifting, trims and little added features make the car feel complete. This car hauls! Little to no roll in corners and stops on a dime with almost no nose dive. I have taken the car up to 210km/hr and it didn't complain... in fact it still wanted to go. The only negative I really have is the trunk space. Because of the subwoofer in the trunk golf clubs are not able to fit without folding one of the back seats down.
The Paddle shifters are fun and the DSG transmission is impressively smooth and reactive.
The leather on the drivers seat cracked after only 6 months... but it's an AUDI and they replaced it without questions. I would definitely recommend the extended warranty as a precaution.

Pros: Design, seats, solid build, Audi Quarto Cons: Moonroof that doesn't open, the A5 can feel heavy
If BMW was the ultimate choice for the fun ride lover, Audi now offers an exciting alternative: Audi A5. I love almost everything about the car: it rides well, roomy enough and super well designed. If you like the moon it offers a huge moon roof but if you like the wind, don't expect much since the moonroof can only open to a slit...
