Pros: Decently crafted, unassuming pop music. Cons: Anonymous, lacking passion. No real standout performance.
Four albums in and Jessica Simpson has yet to form any solid musical identity. While Christina Aguilera is the tough-as-nails brassy diva with a chip on her shoulder and Justin Timberlake is the smooth yet vulnerable cad, Jessica's still the chick who ...
Pros: Some great pop/dance moments. Nice vocals and some pretty ballads. Cons: Stylistically spastic, all over the place and no identity throughout the album.

Pros: If you were mine is really good Cons: If you were mine is really good

Pros: Title Track, "I Don't Want To Care" Cons: It's a Jessica Simpson album. DUH!

Pros: "A Public Affair," "The Lover In Me" Cons: Everything else, Jessica's voice, too many sampled

Pros: Some moments of pure pop goodness...."Walkin Round..." Cons: bland, boring and hopelessly generic for most of the album

sounds like jessica simpson did this cuz she was bored by danzoolo ,Jan 29 '07
Pros: a few of the dance songs are good for a smile or "something different" Cons: substanceless, innocent, and rushed
a public affair sounds like she made this album because she had nothing better to do than make an album. im not sure if she was bored or if she need something to do to get over her ncik lachey break up, either way this album isnt too good. some of the dance songs are catchy and the ballad i belong to me is good but it all sounds like a pose of the real jessica. this album just sounds too "let's rush an album cuz i feel like it and make some extra money to install a new pool at my new house away from nick lachey!". its not bad but it sounds way too innocent to fully enjoy. maybe somethnig to throw off when you're in the mood for something to cheer you up but otherwise its pretty substanceless.
