Pros: Less then $300 after the rebate, gift card and free delivery Cons: None
When my old washing machine was on its last legs we decided it was time to replace it but didn't want to spend too much money since, at the time, we had been thinking of possibly selling the house in the not to distant future, well, before the real ...

Pros: Size, wash motion, quiet, long rinse cycle, two speed motor, infinite water level.
Cons: No spray rinse on heavy duty, won't wash with lid up, style.
The Kenmore (that I bought for $25 a while back) played a cruel joke by whining and not running during the rinse cycle. It would then nicely crank back up and wash perfectly, when I left the room. So to avoid any future jokes (like it breaking down for ...

Shakes uncontrollably
by garnerep ,Jan 24 '07
Pros: price Cons: shakes loudly.
This has not been a good buy. It shakes the whole house. I am embarrassed to run it while guests are over. My parents thought a helicopter was landing near our home, it was just the rinse cycle. Do not buy this machine if you value your home, it is dangerous to have so much shaking, it breaks the light bulbs.

Warning Do Not Buy
by briankasey ,May 24 '07
Pros: big name Cons: cheap built, does not hold up misleading warranty
I purchased this washer because of the Maytag name,
it only lasted one year and ten months and the transmission went out, which the part was under warranty; however the labor to install was $185 plus a seal kit for a additional $80.00.When I called their consumer hot line I was told that
mechanical things break and their was nothing that they could do about it.

You get what you pay for
by ccyoga ,Oct 03 '06
Pros: none, except low price, but this machines proves that you get what you pay for Cons: operation, useful life
This machine looks and operates like the bottom of the line model it is. I've had mine for a little less than two years (it came new with my apartment). Although I've never been satisfied with its operation (seems to stretch out and sometimes even mangle clothing, even on the delicate cycle), it recently stopped working. Since the mfr warranty has expired, it will cost a minimum o f$143 to have the problem diagnosed and possibly repaired. That's half the retail cost of the item new, so it's clearly not worth repairing. Am now in the market for a new, better machine.

Admiral AAV7000A Poor Quality
by jhowa5 ,Sep 15 '06
Pros: Cheap Cons: Shakes, misshaped plastic basket, very lightweight. Will walk around your house as it shakes.
This is a minimal Maytag made plastic tub washer. It is intrinsically unbalanced and shakes unacceptably even at it's slowest speed. It is of very lightweight construction throughout. I had it looked at by a 30 yr experienced washer repairman. He said it was the bottom of the line. Nothing like the old Maytag "Dependable" models where the repair guy on TV had nothing to do. He now has plenty to do with these lightweights. I knew nothing about washers and trusted a "big box" store to sell quality. I made a mistake.

junk!!!!!!!!!!!
by jayson738 ,Jun 13 '09
Pros: None constant headache. Cons: Too many to list
Junk, Junk, Junk!!!!!!!!!!Someone should be held responsible for this washing machine only lasting three years..........I know some would say its just $300 but to some others that is a lot of money to be spending on a washing machine three years later. It was always off balance from day one even with no clothes in the thing it would walk around. Like I said junk, junk, junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pure Crap
by normalbuyer ,Feb 24 '08
Pros: none! Cons: Unbalanced loads. Wasting water.
I have a different model...(LNC676OB71) and you can never get the load balanced.
It will start walking across the room. From full, half or small loads. It has done this after the first year of use. The only thing stopping it is a wall or the drain hose holding it back. Yes, I said drain hose!
Looking to buy a new one this year....and it will NOT be an Admiral.

No problems, whatsoever
by jltupper ,Apr 20 '08
Pros: It suits all of my washing needs. Cons: I have nothing bad to say about it.
After reading some of the reviews already listed I felt obligated to say that my admiral washer and dryer are wonderful. They are quiet, large capacity, I can use fabric softener and bleach separately and most of all I have no problems with them.
I bought them at Home Depot and have never had any reason to complain.

EEH Guys
by rgrr ,Jan 10 '09
Pros: Cheap, parts made by whirlpool Cons: cant be over-filled
This is not top of he line washer and a couple yrs old in its design. But almost every part is made by Whirlpool (check parts warehouse or ask). Yes some will break but its never moved an inch when we used it and its been good to us. Problem today is that people will overfill the machine and put excessive strain on it..after too many times doing that, even the best of machines will break.
