I get really bad congestion in my nose a lot, and I decided to try this saying it gives relief up to 12 hours. This is definitely worth the $5. It lasted over 12 hours for me, and instantly I could breathe better. It went from not being able to breathe at all to feeling like I didn't have a cold at all. I could breathe perfectly. The mist works great, a lot better than any saline drops, it may burn a little when you spray, but it is definitely worth it! I would reccomend this product to anyone.

I am in my ninth month of pregnancy and my Dr. prescribed this to me for a bad cold. I used 1 dose at bedtime for 3 days (per packages directions) and now I cannot breathe without this product! My nose is heavily congested and I cannot even sneeze because the medication SHRINKS YOUR NASAL PASSAGES.

Before you use this product, you should Google "Afrin Addiction" and see what comes up. You'd be surprised at how many people's lives were made miserable because of Afrin. Personally, I think they should take this crap off the market. Then maybe I wouldn't be up at 3am with a congested nose, unable to breathe and sleep.

Please do not buy Afrin. I have been using it for over 3 months and cannot seem to break free of it. Please read the warning label and do not use it for more than 3 days. I believe I became addicted after a couple of doses. This medication is very very addicting. I want nothing more right now than to be able to breathe on my own and not use this product 3-4 times a day due to being addicted to it.

Okay, for all of you who are addicted to Afrin, I figured out how to beat the addiction and save you lots of money. Use the nose spray in only one side of your nose while the other side stays plugged up. At least you will be able to breathe out of one side of your nose while the other side gets a chance to heal. Once you can breathe on your own again with the other side of your nose quit using Afrin all together. You might be a little miserable doing this, but I am Afrin free now for 3 days and it feels great!! No more $5 every other week for me.
