John Edward et al - After Life: Answers from the Other Side Books

Pros: Read about the souls of Sept 11th banding together. Details of John's Australian tour.
Cons: Too many detailed accounts of readings became boring.

I loved the last John Edward book, so I was eager to read AFTER LIFE - ANSWERS FROM THE OTHER SIDE By John Edward, the star of the TV Show, CROSSING OVER. With the forward by Larry King. This is John Edward's 4th book. With a documentary crew, ...

Pros: This book is an easy, quick read and is entertaining.
Cons: The book is not what the title implies.

The book, "After Life" bears the subtitle, "answers from the Other Side," but falls short of "answering" any relevant questions.

Comprised primarily of anecdotes from John Edward's television program(s) and glimpses of the emotional roller-coaster that was Mr. Edward's life growing up, the book seems more to be a therapeutic journey for Mr. Edwards, rather than an uplifting, inspirational or informative text for persons truly seeking answers to life's most perplexing questions.

Perhaps my expectations were out-of-line, but my impression was that "After Life" promised much more than it delivered. Mr. Edward's autobiography could be a good read, please don't disguise it as a piece offering "answers from the other side."
