Pros: Easy installation; decent sound; aux input; good shock resistance; good FM Cons: Overly jazzy styling; annoying "demo" mode
(Added more information on Nov 3, 2003.) Car audio for me is in a sort of in-between hell... I have been drifting to using more CDs in the car but I like to listen to books-on-tape, which are still mostly on cassette. Therefore, I wanted a CD car ...
Pros: Nice sound, Super Bass, Easy Use, Color Blue/Red Cons: Default demo mode, that's about it...
I bought the CDC-X227 about 4 mo ago and until now it's been worth every penny. Looks: so, so... not the greatest but for the price I find it's pretty nice. It has the option to change from a fixed blue to a fixed red. Note>>> it comes by ...
Pros: Great sound, aux input on front panel, fun multi color display, low price Cons: settings difficult to change at first
I initially chose this stereo because I am not a fan of flip-down face plates. It was inexpensive and had all the features that I was looking for. I am next planning to buy an MP3 player, so the aux input in the front is a wonderful extra. The buttons...
Pros: Great features.Great Sound!Great Price!! Cons: Demo mode kind of annoying.
Wow I was blown away by the features on this model. The AUX mode was a great addition, for the fact that if you have a portiable Mini disk player or (like me)a portable MP3 player you can hook it up and your ready to go.It also has a great sound with 45...
Pros: Front Aux input. Sound. Blue or red display. Cons: CD player did not last as long as I thought it should.
I loved this deck for about two years and then it was useful to support my MP3 player. The CD player started eating cd's and I have lost many to this battle. Luckily I was able to get a MP3 player for Christmas and now I don't have to worry about eaten cd's. The front AUX input is awesome; everyone I know is jealous of this little feature. The sound is good and is able to push normal speakers fine. With the short life of the CD player I do not think that I would buy an AIWA again. I think I'll stick to another brand, as long as the deck had an AUX input in the front.
Pros: Sound Quality, easy installation, Aux input, choice of blue or red illumination Cons: button layout, volume knob not sensitive enough
This unit is easy to install and has great sound, at first i couldn't find out how to turn off the demo mode. But with help from a fellow member of Epinions i was able to turn it off. The price of the unit i pretty good for the quality and looks that you get.
I receive an error message of E03 there was no manual for the AIWA CDC-227 I would like a copy of the manual or/and some help on what is wrong with it.
