Pros: Helps to relieve itches, great for small break outs and a must for poison ivy. Cons: Expensive if you need to cover a large area.
After a bad run with Purex laundry detergent about two years ago, Aveeno Anti-Itch Cream has been a staple in my house. It works on anything from minor itches and irritations to bug bites and the starting signs of a topical allergic reaction. ...
I have experimented with almost every itch cream I could find to help combat my eczema flare ups. Last year I lucked out when I obtained a prescription for Elidel from my Dermatologist. This is an expensive cream costing over one ...
Pros: relieves the itch, no residue, absorbs easily into skin Cons: smell, price, does not last as long as Benadryl cream
My mother handed me the Aveeno anti itch cream after I have had no luck with the Benadryl itch relief stick I had purchased. I had never heard of the aveeno anti itch cream before, but mom said it worked good for her so I figured it was worth a try. ...

Pros: Cooling relief from itch, relief from the pain of irritated skin. Cons: None that I can recall.
When I was growing up, my Mom always used calamine lotion on us when we had hives, an itch from a mosquito bite, poison ivy, and even chicken pox. It was a good feeling, that cooling sensation of the calamine - but unfortunately it would flake off when ...
Pros: Only four dollars for a tube. Has that familiar smell. Cons: Didn't give me immediate relief.
Wretched, relentless, interminable agony tortured the man with its persistence and elusiveness. The affliction's source seemed apparent, but despite his best efforts the phantom transmitter of this tormenting itch eluded him, like the prize just beyond ...
Pros: Works great to relieve itching, goes on smooth, not oily Cons: A little bit expensive in comparison to other products
Being that myself and my son both have extremely sensitive skin, I have found that it's always a good idea to keep a large variety of skin care products around the house. This means lotions, rash cremes, anti-itch ointments, etc. Basically anything ...
Fast Acting and Long Lasting by logansmarvel ,Jul 23 '06
Pros: Fast acting, feels cool, works on all kinds of rashes/itchiness, good for travel Cons: high price for small tube (about $4-$5 depending on store), may stain some clothes
I broke out in hives at the mall due to an allergic reaction to food and I had no medication or cream to ease the itch so I ran into the mall's CVS and found this cream. Luckily it worked quickly and on contact it felt cool and it instantly relieved the itching and burning and for the rest day kept the pain away and even got rid of the hives!
Ever since that incident I've always used this cream. Its good for rashes, hives, and bug bites so its perfect for children too. It works just as good as Calamine lotion, but minus the drying and flaking off. Packing this is a must for summer vacations in tropical places and camping and where ever there might be bugs.
