Pros: Auto shut off, fast acting, steam and light mist Cons: None

Pros: Nice weight. Stable when sitting on ironing board. Price was reasonable. Easy to read settings. Cons: Water level difficult to view.
I had previously owned a Rowenta and decided to purchase a less expensive iron. I do a lot of ironing and I loved my Rowenta! The Black & Decker D1700 is a very good iron, heats up quickly and more than adequate for tough wrinkles like on linen fabrics. My only complaint is being able to view the water level. The resevoir is kind of a wine color and quite difficult to see through. I have to hold it in the right light to be able to see it.
