The gizmo held its charge for all of 10 minutes. During this time we couldn't get it to open a can let alone get the blade to puncture the can to start cutting.
Maybe we got a lemon. The design is poor in getting it to lock onto a can. Wife tried for 15 minutes before I gave it a shot. While playing with it, the battery died. We gave it a full charge as the instructions said to. I'm always leery of cordless due to NiCad batteries used. Are they heavy duty or light duty. For a little more money, NiMh can be used and then there is no worry on memory storage and battery life.
