Too few controls on the dock.
This less expensive non-portable unit has great sound, looks terrific and it's compact. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with my newest Nano, the 3rd Gen. Nano, the square one with the big screen which plays videos.
My older 2nd Gen. Nano, the long one works fine.
The 3rd Gen. Nano will play for a few minutes and then turn off as if someone pushed the off button on the remote.

This is a hassle, and if I knew I would face this, I wouldn't have bought this unit.
I sent the first one back to the on-line retailer and got a new one with the same problem. I assume it's a design problem.
