Pros: Wonderful peppermint scent, all natural Cons: Pricey
Burts Bees products are very appealing to me because of their natural ingredients and environmentally friendly approach. Therefore, I thought I would try their Peppermint Shower Soap. Scent & Appearance This soap has, of ...
Pros: All Natural, no animal testing, exfoliates, wonderful ingredients. Cons: Little drying on face, kind of expensive.
As anyone who shops regularly or who has shopped at Drugstore.com at all knows they have a flair for giving out some interesting and often nice freebies when you order from them. After a recent online shopping spree with them I was the recipient of a...
Pros: you can recycle the wrapper Cons: same color as butt barf, smells bad, burns skin
When I received a sample sized bar of Burt's Bees Peppermint Shower Soap in a Burt's Bees Head to Toe Starter Kit, I smelled it before I saw it. The scent of peppermint was absolutely overpowering. It was mixed with the scent of ...
My father used to travel on business. Part of the routine of his returning from a trip was unloading all the various soaps, shampoos and other bathroom items supplied by the hotel to its guests. A 4-day business trip often resulted in his bringing back...
Pros: Peppermint scent refreshes and energizes. Great exfoliation! Cons: Exfoliation can be harsh. Sticky when left on side of tub.
Any product that professes to awaken me and energize my senses in the mornings gets my attention. When I read about Burts Bees Farmers Friend Peppermint Bar Soap, I knew I just had to try it! My most recent experience with an ...
Pros: Smells great, exfoliates, cleanses Cons: Too expensive, doesn't lather well, and it looks...um...interesting.
Alright, that's it. Some things should just not change. Pepsi should not be Twisted, Best Foods mayonnaise should go back to being Helmann's, 3 Musketeers bars should have less fluff and more chocolate, and Burt's Bees needs to reconsider the...
Pros: Peppermint fragrance; exfoliating particles; leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. Cons: Ugly - but looks are deceiving!
Okay, I'm hooked on Burt's Bees stuff - I can't get enough of them! The unique products just keep calling to me, and I've found myself trying things I'd normally never use just to see what they're like. One of these products that I had to try for ...
Pros: An all-natural bar of soap that is almost too good to be true. Cons: "What is that black thing in your shower?"
This bar of Burt's Bees Peppermint Shower Soap was sitting in a gift bag in my medicine cabinet in my bathroom for over six months before fate brought me to this glorious experience. What a day it was . . . My nose was so stuffy that day. W ...
Pros: great smell, good exfoliating Cons: it looks scary
I've mentioned it in my other reviews, but I'll state it here too...I love Burt's Bees. If I could get all poetic (I can't) I would. They make high-quality, natural products, they use almost exclusively natural, non-synthetic, non-chemical ingredients....
Pros: All-Natural, improves skin Cons: A litte pricey, but well worth it!
I purchased a facial sample kit from a local natural foods market. I highly recommend everything in it, but since Im writing a review of the shower soap, I'll stick to that.
I've been battling confused skin for over 8 years now. This...
I decided to try this soap because I've been pleased with Burt's Bees other products. I'm glad I did! I did not find the color and texture offensive, as some have. It's definately not your run-of-the-mill soap, and I'm glad! I was tired of the typical soaps and body washes out there. This is different. I find the aroma very invigorating. It does not linger afterward and is a very clean scent. I think the texture is a plus! I get exfoliated while I shower without using extra products. I also do not find it drying, which is nice. All in all, it's my favorite soap! The only annoying thing is that bits of it tend to flake off and end up on the shower floor (no big deal, down the drain they go). It doesn't last long so I don't use it every day (it is a bit pricey).
Not the best soap. Not the worst by holidayhoo ,Dec 14 '04
Pros: Good ingredients. A nice bathroom "soap dish" soap for the entire family. Cons: Lather is AWFUL..... no lather. And smell dissipates quickly..... also MELTS fast.
A nice soap for general use by the family. Good on the face though not on sensitive skin. Lather is POOR though and the smell dissipates fast. Nice effects though. Exfoliating and (lightly) moisturizing.... does refresh and deodorize.... although refreshing is minimal..... no tingly sensations. Like my favorite mint soaps. Don't buy it if you want a steal (its not perfect) but buy if you love natural soaps and pur ingredients.
