Pros: Beautiful location. Cons: Reservations are not honored. Guests are shuttled to inferior accommodations. Staff insulting and rude.

Pros: Beautiful and serene hotel, great views, fabulous pool. Cons: A tad pricey, staff responsiveness needs some work.

Pros: None! The pros can be found at other hotels that won't take advantage of you. Cons: Shady business practices. Dishonest and disreputable.
The following has been updated in response to the comments of an "advisor" (see brackets below) I hope it is more helpful now.
Let me say up front that the Cesar Augustus is a beautiful hotel and they do a nice job of portraying this on...

FABULOUS hotel

Pros: Excellent views, Beautiful pool, great food, super service, lovely rooms. Cons: None.
My husband and I stayed at the Caesar Augustus Hotel in June 2001. It was more than we ever dreamed. The service was impeccable and the junior suite was huge and very private with balconies all around our room. Note that on this trip we also stayed at the Westin in Florence and the St. Regis in Rome. The Caesar Augustus was our favorite. I hope that the hotel is still the same...it's been a few years...because we cannot wait to go back.
