If you enjoy first person shooters, then this is a must have. Go; stop reading and go now. The graphics are amazing and must be experienced in Hi-Def. The digital multi-channel sound is even true enough to use as a great guide in aiming. I do have one gripe. There is no split screen multi player campaign mode. In hardcore mode you need all the help you can get. I also wish there was a way to lay flat faster.

This game brings to life war and the men within the game. You hear the bullets singing, the tanks booming, the wounded crying, and dead dying. Your player's man can be heard running out of breath while running.
The sites that you play in are very real to life. The weapons are very true to life. When playing this game on line with other people from around the world you forget that you are only in a game not in the real world. Its like a day dream. I have heard from men that have been in the war that its true to life and it brings back the past.
Out of all the war games I have played this has come the closest to real life.

Cons: online could have been better...especially without as much lag

single player is a blast but the problems are in the multiplayer. there are no options when setting up a multiplayer game and in addition to that there is a tremendous amount of lag which is bothersome.

they just released a patch that downloads automatically when you sign in online. this patch fixes just about everything that i previously considered a problem. now there is no doubt that this is the best game on the 360 (sorry GRAW!!!)

I love playing call of duty 2. It is unbelievably graphic and entertaining it is as close to war as you want to get. I was very impressed with the layout of the game play and the detail when in zoom view the realism of the environment and contact was astounding plus the weapons available were fun to use. I would say that it has to be one of the top war games I’ve played hands down.
