Pros: relieves pressure point areas of the neck & lower back, in home trial w/o risk Cons: less amount of support when sitting on edge of bed
My wife and I are both Doctors of Chiropractic in New York State. Ironically, we both have back problems so we are fully aware of our patient's dilemma when it comes to finding a mattress that is comfortable to sleep on yet won't exacerbate the...

Pros: Lightweight, adjustable firmness, comfortable Cons: Too expensive, basically a supped up aerobed
I had been sleeping on a Bassett spring bed for the last 10 years. The coils were causing me significant pressure points. I was starting to drool at any infomercial for the Select Comfort beds or the foam beds. I laid on both types and decided ...

Comfortaire from Nationwide Mattress
by whatyawant ,Apr 22 '06
Pros: Easy to operate. Very comfortable for us two old people with bad backs. Cons: We have not found any problems at all with this bed.
I ordered our Comfortaire bed from Nationwide Mattress in 2003.
Richard is really on the ball because the bed arrived the day it was to be shipped! I loved the fact we didn't have to wait very long to get the rest we both needed.
We have not had any trouble until last night.
My husband tried to put more air in the bed and all he got was a dead 'click'. Luckily we had another pump and were able to pump up the bed and put in the plugs that came with the bed and voila! another good night's rest.
Today I called Nationwide and was put in contact with the super salesman, Richard, who immediately checked our records and instantly ordered the new pump (the Air Control System.) It was still under warranty and should be here in about a week. We just return the 'dead' pump.
How's that for instant service? Thanks again, Richard.

AWESOME Mattress
by hinton8 ,Oct 05 '03
Pros: AWESOME Product Cons: None!!
I decided that I would research purchasing an air bed. I had seen the Select Comfort ads, Nautilis, and others (I contacted all of them). I then stumbled onto Comfortaire, the inventor of the air bed. I called the Comfortaire factory and asked a number of questions about their mattresses in attempt to match a mattress to my back needs. They recommended the GeoVista. I called several of the Comfortaire dealers. Some dealers tried to sell me Comfortaire's most expensive product, not listening to my back issues (bulging lower discs and fused cervical discs). This changed when I called Mark at Airbeddepot.com. Mark matched the GeoVista as well to me and I have been sleeping on the GeoVista for six months. The GeoVista is AWESOME!!!!

Bad design, bad mattress.
by mrpolak ,Dec 29 '05
Pros: Mine was free. Cons: It sucks. Stay away.
A friend of mine gave it to me. Why would a friend give away a $1000 mattress? Because it sucks. I think I'm bursting some bubbles here, but this bed is a nightmare, at least the queen size I had. It's designed with air bladders that are too narrow, so unless you sleep stiff and straight, like an Egyptian mummy, you're going to roll off the air bladder and... be uncomfortable. This is especially apparent if you attempt to sleep anywhere near the center of the bed, which has no support save for a wimpy piece of a foam divider. Given that the air bladders are about as wide as my shoulders, sleeping on this bed becomes an exercise in self-restraint.

Excellent choice
by gmschrader ,Oct 02 '03
Pros: Easy to set up
Very comfortable
Competitively priced Cons: None
Rising on Sunday morning with bad backaches my wife and I decided it was NOW time to replace our 10 year conventional mattress. I jumped on the internet looking for a reasonably priced mattress. We looked at conventional mattress but did not like the price of the good quality mattresses. We then started looking at air sleep systems. We chose the queen sized GeoVista mattress (dual control) from nationwidemattress.com. We found the same mattress being sold by other companies but the price from nationwidemattress.com was very competitive
I placed an order online on Sunday afternoon and promptly received an email confirmation on Monday. On Wednesday of the same week we received the tracking number and by 6PM on Thursday of the same week we were setting up our new mattress. Set up was dead easy and took about 15 minutes.
Although we have had the mattress for only a week, we are very happy with the comfort. NO MORE BACKACHES FOR US!
