I bought this camera and I'm new to web cams ,I don't find it that great even for the price.I find it has alot of errors and tends to lag dramatically.It wont function on some sites correctly,but handles java software well.
Its picture quality tends to flicker in and out and moving objects like kids become ultra blurry.if you have ever had to ask your kids to stay still while you take there picture you will understand what i mean.
If i had to purchase another cheap web cam i would definetly look else were.
The software i was provided like Oozic player can be a painful as pulling teeth to use on lower end computers like pentium 2's ,but anything above a pentium 2 some of that problem disappears.

Its winning point is definetly price

I would say that it has got to be the best value for your money, it also has a feature that, if you want to, you can be e-mailed every time, someone gets near your computer. I run the XP home edition of Windows, and XP seems to LOVE this cam! I know I do, too. Try it, even if you have a dial up connection like me, I love it.

I have this camera except i bout it for $15 with a $5 rebate. For $10 its the best you can buy for the money literally, but otherwise its just a cheap camera that works well close up for online conversations and streaming cam, but thats about it, cant use it for anything else...
