My friend bought this system for his car mainly because he needed a keyless entry system because the lock and key for the drivers side door was wearing out. Plus he really wanted to get an alarm system to protect his stereo system and other valuables...

Good unit, but...

Pros: Neat, compact, priced right, interesting, provocative, lightly seasoned.
Cons: Recommend electronics bkgrnd. False triggering. Free attention getter when you least suspect.
The Good:
Expandable, feature packed, compact design. Straight forward installation. Manufacturer seems to have act together on features and easy installation (recommend paying a professional to do it; more on this later).
