Cons:
Bright LED lights drive me nuts. :)
After 5 years of service, my Dlink DI-624 gave out and I needed a replacement. I found the DI-624 easy to use as well as reliable, so it was an easy decision to get another D-Link product. Before the DI-624, I was using a DI-714P+ which was one of the ...
UPDATE Feb 2008: The router only works with firmware 1.02 with crashes about once a week and certain crash on big file transfer. I've tried it on all the new firmware releases, 1.03 through 1.11. None worked. As a result, I felt D-Link may not be ...
Pros: Great feature set and web-based interface Cons: Twice the price of most good 54g routers
Since I do computer support for a living, I've set up a good number of wireless routers over the years. My experience with D-Link routers has typically been "ho-hum". They tend to be inexpensive, on the positive side, but lack useful features in the ...

Pros: Works great with Xbox Live, no lag, no drops, FAST downloads. Cons: A bit difficult (for me) to configure at first.
I recently moved and previously had a hard-wired internet connection between my computer and my Xbox 360. Now, my computer is on the 2nd floor while my 360 is on the first floor. I didn't want to run 50 feet of ethernet cable through the house, so I ...

Aug 23, 2008 I have since purchased a second DIR655 for my parents and found a difference between the A2 and A3. The A2 has been problem-free. I haven't had to reboot it once in the 6 months I've had it. The A3 hasn't been so reliable, and I've only had ...

Pros: The easiest network router I have ever set up and used. Cons: none
After spending many hours reading professional reviews and their recommendations I found this router to be well ahead of the pack. I have set up networks several times in the past; sometimes the right way and others required professional help baling me out! I will say this was the easiest I have seen or set up. The instructions were clear, easy to follow, and really only took a few minutes to set up 3 PCs, 1 laptop and a network printer. WOW! Everything works great! After using a G system for years I must say the N is wonderful and fast. With N the new standard and the prices falling daily it is well worth the little extra price up front.
I don't pretend to understand all the specs and extra security that goes with this system; that is why the pros get paid! And this is one time I am glad I trusted them. I have been using it about 2 months flawlessly.
Pros: Speed, compatibility, range Cons: Setup took a few tries to get right. probably me and not the unit?
Used for work and fun sometimes both at the same time when working on multiple laptops. Good range in my home as well as outside working from the porch I still have full or almost a full strength signal.
Pros: USB sharing, and the Firewall and PAT functionality. Cons: None, this is a really good router.
I purchesed this Wireless Router ~6 months ago, and It's a great router. I'm an IT professional and fully use the firewall functionality and the port address translation tables, and they work great. In addition the ability to share USB devices on the network is a great new feature. Excelent router, highly recommended.
