Pros: Smooth graphics, strong controls, decent effects Cons: No challenge whatsoever, not much to link this to the first
Probably the biggest instinct that one has to constantly fight in survival horror games, besides to try to move like the controls make sense, is the instinct to blow away every enemy that comes at you. Generally, they purposely give you a limited...
Pros: Slick Graphics, Increased Arsenal of Character Moves, Longer Gameplay Cons: Lack of Storyline, Laughable Difficulty
INTRO or, A DESCENT IN TO BADNESS
I simply loved "Devil May Cry 1" and lets be honest, who didn't? This is still arguably the best game on the PS2 with it's slick neo-goth style, industrial metal soundtrack, trash-talking...
Pros: Graphics, sound, general mechanics of the game Cons: duration, difficulty level, story (ies)
Devil May Cry 2 is meant to be a sequel to the original DMC, released in 2001. While the first Devil May Cry provided the gamer with a terrific variation on the Survival Horror theme with its dynamic action style and bad boy hero Dante, this second ...
Pros: Sharp graphics, suitable music, somewhat compelling Cons: way too short, way too easy and way too repetitive
Devil May Cry 2 is the eager awaited follow up to the successful Devil May Cry, a game that I still consider to be something very special indeed. The original game for those who havent played it was a game which came from the Resident Evil school...
Pros: Sharper graphics, Matrix-style moves, huge levels when compared to the first. Cons: Story is terrible. DMC2 is much less challenging and creative than the first.
Intro - I loved the gameplay, graphics, and stylish-coolness of the first DMC. The cut-scene's alone were great. The boss battles were overly-competitive, extremely challenging, and lots of fun. (even though fighting each boss 3 times...
Pros: Good graphics, very fun battle system, Dante is a bada$$ Cons: It’s easy, camera angles, facial expressions, plot, low replay value
As most of you already know if youve seen my Devil May Cry, I have a lot of respect for the series mostly because of its originality, but I am very disappointed with this sequel. Not only does it disgrace the first game, it makes...
Pros: New moves, Graphics improved, New enemies, and can play as a different character. Cons: Camera view isn't good, seems to play a bit slower than the first.
If you read the "Pros and Cons" already your probably thinking "This is going to be a lot better than the first Devil May Cry." But actually it couldn't get any worst than it is. I mean it has its fun points of course, but to sum it up in a couple words ...
Pros: Decent graphics, great control, mindless fun Cons: No difficulty, too short, disjointed story, can't live up to DMC1
Intro:
Devil May Cry 2. I'd been waiting for this game ever since I played through the first one. And now that it's finally out, I have to say I came out a little dejected. Sure, it's a good game, it looks a lot better than DMC1 on paper, but the...
Pros: Greatest Character in a Video Game! Style, Cool Weapons. Cons: Camera, Lack of Story
Devil May Cry 2 gets a lot of bad comments made about it because it didn't live up to the first game. Well I've never played the first game. Well not yet... But I did play Devil May Cry 2. I thought it was awesome. But that's because I'm NOT comparing it ...
Pros: Great graphics, good music Cons: bad camera views, bosses can be at less a Challenge
Ever since I have played the first version of Devil May Cry I couldn't wait for the second game to come out, The game was such a trill to play there was pure hardcore action with every turn. When my friend got the second game I borrowed it from him right ...
Pros: The first ten minutes Cons: everything else.
When I first brought home Devil May Cry 2 from my video store I was prepped for it. A case of Dr.P, massive potato chips, and... more DP. This would have been a great review filled with tales of me slaying everyone whilst looking awesome. At first I was like "Man, this game is the $*." But near the end of my.. oh say two hours, I was beginning to think, "was this game worth the time?" The game got so repetitive, so mundane, that it became a chore to finish. So after I have finished the game that is the definition of horrible I said to the clerk upon returning it "BURN THIS GAME!!!" The fact is I wished it was more. Sure the graphics were fine, but after a while they were just bland city landscapes. Not the Beautiful castle landscapes of the first one. My point I was disappointed. Whatever, I still have Dr. Pepper
Pros: dante gone bad Cons: i wish it was a whole lot better
this game isnt as good as dmc1 it didnt have a good story line the graphics were better than the first and the outfit but the weapons and enemys?they sucked dante could atleast get sparda and luce&ombra and they could have put griffon from the first game in it a nero angelo but the best thing they put in it was trish!!! they could have made lucia more sexier
