Pros: Awesome suction, Even Siberian Husky fur cannot stop the suction on this beast. Cons: Price, but worth it.... Hose tends to retract with suction.
This is the vacuum to buy of you have a pet that sheds. I have a Siberian Husky and live in California, summer sucks with all of the hair. I had a Phantom vacuum that I bought because the Dyson looked a little cheap and it was a little expensive. BAD ...

Pros: Works like it is advertised, does not lose suction, and looks great! Cons: Price may be an issue.
I bought my Dyson after going through numerous vacuums over the years. I Love it. My old vacuum,(a Kenmore), had gone out AGAIN, and this time was not repairable. Pet hair is a major problem and other vacuums can not handle it without burning out. The ...

Pros: It cleans WAY better than our more expensive oreck. Easy to use and empty container. Cons: Little heavy (just adds to cleaning power), and wand is short for a 6'3" guy.
My wife and I both have allergies that are aggravated by our two indoor dogs. We have been using our oreck for the last few years but finally got fed up with the strong dog smell emitting from the vacuum every time we used it. We spent a considerable ...

Pros: Great for cleaning carpets. No expensive bags to buy. Long cord and hose. Cons: Messy to clean out cannister. Cumbersome to carry up stairs.
I've had my Dyson Animal DC17 for 6 months, and have been very happy with it. At 60 years of age, I've had a few vacuums over the years. My old Electrolux machines were my favorites, an upright and a cannister, but they both needed replacement after 20 ...

Pros: Works Suction Colors useful attachments 5 year warranty Cons: Price, thought it's worth it. Hard to get used to at first
I became sick and tired of buying an inexpensive vacuum cleaner every year. I was literally going through one sweeper each year, because of them breaking down. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a Dyson. I did my research. I talked to other people who ...

Pros: Powerful rotating bristles, powerful suction, cleaning power. Cons: Price, documentation and small canister capacity.
"What's the big deal about, it's just a vacuum cleaner?" That's what I said after looking at the Dyson DC17 in the store. Yeah right, a $549 vacuum cleaner that is. C'mon, is ANY vacuum cleaner really worth 500 bucks? Oh no, it's not just ...

Pros: Does a great job, excellent suction, easy to use! Cons: Price, lack of useful attachments and instruction book.
We purchased our Dyson Animal DC17 yesterday. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble it, the instructions are not very helpful. We vacuumed our living room and was shocked, to say the least, of the amount of dirt, dust, pet hair and who knows ...

Pros: Easy to use, great for pet households, no bags to buy. Cons: Maneuverability is sometimes not the best. Dust can blow in your face at emptying.
INTRODUCTION Have pets? Got lots of pet hair, dander, tracked in dust and dirt from the yard? Then this is the machine for you! My house is filled with pets - two dogs and a cat - and they all shed differently and manage to track in unique ...

Pros: Incredible suction. Cons: Bit pricey.
This product was given to me as a gift. The vacuum that I had was working fine - or so I thought until I lit up this new Dyson. The suction on this machine is amazing. I couldn't believe what came up from the carpet. The bagless feature is nice, my ...

Pros: -No more vaccum bags -Eliminate alergies -helpful attatchments for hard to get areas Cons: -The vaccum is very expensive -The vacuum is somewhat heavy
My husband had been suffering from terrible allergies from our cats. We really didn't want to give the cats away. So I looked into many vaccums online for a while. Our friend had a DC17 animal bagless upright cyclonic vaccum. He said it worked awesome. ...

Pros: really works better than any vacuum out there, many accessories, futuristic design, quiet Cons: no retractable cord, too many trips outside to empty the canister, no bag for accessories
Imagine using a product that didn't get the job done and getting so frustrated that you were determined to design a new technology and design for a very effective cyclone vacuum. Imagine taking your idea to the major vacuum manufacturers and them ...

Pros: Great suction, style and ease of use! A+++ Cons: Haven't run across any yet.
First off, I have to say that the first vacuum I ever owned was an Electrolux. It was a wonderful vacuum and it lasted for over 12 years! I have 2 Shelties...they have long hair that is constantly shedding. Needless to say, I vacuum A LOT! My vacuum ...

Pros: Looks cool, great suction, relatively light. Cons: None that I can see.
I know that sounds lame, but my husband had no idea what to get me. He asked me what I wanted and I said "A Dyson vacuum". I had trouble justifying just buying it for no reason because of the price, but for a Christmas gift, I was perfectly willing. ...

Pros: Excellent suction
Superb cleaning
Many useful accessories
5 year warranty Cons: None for me!
I have owned this vacuum for over a year now. It is the best one I have ever owned. I have not had any problems with it. The suction rivals that of the 16 gallon shop vac that we have. It has never lost suction as all of my old vacs did. We live in ...

Pros: POWERFUL, quality, tough, durable, trouble free, and works like new a few years later. Cons: A bit heavier than some small cheap vacums.
To help a friend I allowed a Kirby demo the other day, the guy brought the new Kirby model thats lighter, and much more powerful than any model before it (dont remember the name). He ran this thing over several surfaces using the demo filters over ...
