I bought 2 Piranha Energy Drinks in the supermarket because it was on sale and it said energy drink on it. I was curious how it fared against Carbo Rush which I liked and recommended. Unlike Carbo Rush, Piranha can be bought in supermarkets...

Pros: Tastes like Hawaiian Punch.
Cons: Unhealthy, any way you look at it, with no redeeming nutritive value; no sugar-free version.

This product is absolutely the best energy drink I have had yet. I am in college and sleep seems to be secondary to work quite often, so these energy drinks are required to keep me alive in the computer lab.

Pros: Good boost effect. Tastes OK. Low in sugar.

I got a free sample of this stuff from one of their marketing guys on the street. It wasn't as cold as I would have liked but hey - it was free. Even warm it didn't taste bad at all, and it definitely gave me a boost for a few hours. I had a phone interview a while later and I sounded very enthusiastic I'm sure. I hope I didn't come across like John McCain on the campaign trail! It has less sugar than a lot of these drinks. I would definitely give this two thumbs up!

Pros: Great flavor, cool looking can.
Cons: So tasty I wanted more, but I'm sure I didn't need the extra rush.

I tried the Fruit Punch flavor. That, along with Full throttle and Amp, has the best taste of any of the energy drinks.

The rest -Monster, Red Bull, Rockstar, etc- all taste the same: like liquid sweet tarts. It's disgusting. But Piranha, at least the Fruit Punch flavor, was delicious.

I also had no problem with the way the can opens. I wasn't planning on running around with it. I use energy drinks to get a boost, not as part of my workout.
