Save your money

Pros: Easy to assemble, light enough to move around, 30 day money back guarantee Cons: Heavy to carry on the metro, must pay S/H ($20) if you return it
I'm a generally healthy individual that wanted to get in shape and thought I'd try it out. I got it several weeks later after ordering it. It was a bit heavy to carry on the metro so it's not as light as I had assumed it would be after reading their website. But it was very easy to assemble once I got to the office. I would recommend having a screwdriver around for the screws that you must use to put on the pedal straps.
I put it under my desk in my office to give the cycling a go and found it was a bit noisy and my knees kept hitting my desk (I'm a short person and my chair was at its lowest setting).
Also, I was hoping to multitask, doing my work and cycling at the same time but if you're seriously working, it's hard to recline and do some serious reading at the same time.

Convenient Workout
by johns776 ,Oct 21 '03
Pros: portable, comfortable Cons: somewhat noisy, heavy
Easily put together, but I wish I hadn't bothered with the toe
straps (too small, not particularly adjustable - 2 positions available for the screws). Resistance is provided by friction, so there is a hissing noise, the pitch and loudness of which changes with the tension setting on the resistance strap. I had some problems with groaning (the way bus brakes sometimes sound) and squeaking, but spraying some teflon oil on the axle and foot pedals took care of that. The "flywheel" is reasonably massive. Not something I'd care to pay retail for, but a good buy at deep discount.
