Pros: Comfortable, spacious, durable Cons: Small mesh pockets, unpadded waistbelt
I have always like Jansport backpacks. They are durable, look good, large and comfortable. The first one I had was a black, leather bottom Amarillo. That one did me well until the zipper wore out. The next Janspot I had was a black and blue Big Horn w ...
Overview Jansport's Equinox 33 daypack is a great daypack for hitting the trails, but it especially shines in the "urban jungle". With three compartments and a total capacity of 2,000 cubic inches, the Equinox gives you plenty of room in a lightweight ...
Pros: Attractive, comfortable design. Spacious compartments. Cons: New pack is already falling apart. Can't trust it in the field.
I bought my Equinox as a replacement for my 6-year-old North Face Miwok (basically a Yavapai without bottle holders), which finally wore out. I mainly use a daypack for carrying books and other everyday stuff, but I need something reliable and sturdy ...
Pros: Great pack with lots of pockets organizing your stuff. Cons: Water bottle holders are somewhat small
PROS:
This is about the fourth or fifth pack I've picked for hiking and I'm sticking with it. The key selling feature for me was the the three compartment design with multiple organizing pockets in the center compartment. The shoulder straps are...
Pros: Rugged, realiable, spacious, comfortable, huge side pockets. Cons: Zipper pulls fray and wear out. Not hydration compatible.
I don't think I will need another bag for about MANY years the way this thing is going. I use this pack for everything: motorcycling, road and mt biking, vacations, using it as my range bag, hiking, going to work with me 5 days a week, etc. ...
Pros: Organizer pocket, key fob, enough room. Cons: I still sweat thru my t-shirt, but that's just me.
I've had this pack for about 2 years. It's gone everywhere from the Sierras to Munich. I like the 3 pockets and the organizer. There's plenty of room in the big pocket to stash a jacket or raingear plus lunch and a camera. The suspension has always been comfortable, even with heavy loads.

Pros: hardwearing good value well built lots of space compartments good size Cons: none
I would not hesitate to recomend this pack, it's been great. I use it every day on my motorbike, I use it for gym, I use it for snowboarding. It has stood the test of time. The front zip went eventually (after 5 years) so now I am looking to buy another one, think I got it in the states so I will have to import one from Ebay.
