Pros: Nice character designs, solid control, and a good battle system make this game at least somewhat enjoyable Cons: Repetitive gameplay, bland dungeons, a lack of variety in terms of monsters, and a linear storyline make playing through the entire game a bit of a chore
Author's Note: I know, I know, I'm the Epinions movie guy--the one who writes about movies most people have never even heard of--so what am I doing writing a game review? Well, basically, I figured it might be nice to branch out a bit. Plus, I like...

Pros: Nice graphics; entertaining Cons: Very short and pretty much average in every category
I still remember some of the hype over this game when it arrived. At last, the mighty Sega Dreamcast would have a roleplaying game exploiting the 128-bit power of the system. Joy! Too bad the game is only fair-to-middling and has "rush job" plastered ...

Pros: Parts of it look nice. Cons: Pop-up, control, gameplay, just a couple notches lower than it should be.
Suzuki Alstare Racing is the best motorcycle racing game on the Sega Dreamcast. A big part of that is because it's the only motorcycle racing game on the Dreamcast, but there are some good points to it, too, besides being the only one.
You've...

Pros: Visually not bad. Cons: The game is ruined in every aspect one way or another.
Being a avid motorcycle fan and the owner of a Dreamcast, this title was a must have despite hearing it was average at most. Unfortunately I learned the hard way, a bad purchase and here is why....
There is only one place in this game that...

Pros: Cheap price, it is a decent game, graphics, character design! Cons: Dungeons can get frustrating!
I don’t see why so many people bash Evolution. I mean, I would have also been a little disappointed had I spent fifty bucks (I got this game for $9.99 at Best Buy) to buy it, but it isn’t that bad of a game.
As I said Evolution isn’t all that...

Pros: good control, nice character designs, nice battles, first rpg for DC Cons: 2 repeative, dungeons can get boring, lack of storyline
Knowing that this was going 2 be the first RPG for the DC, I decided to give this game a try. When I first popped it in, I watched the preview of Mag Launcher and his friend Linear running up a tower and finding a treasure. I thought the graphics...

Pros: cute Cons: too easy
Evolution is the first RPG that was mad for Sega Dream Cast. is it too easy? the point of the game is to pay off the money that you owe. the story does not have too many plots. there isn't too many places to go. the puzzel was too easy, or...

Pros: Graphics, Gameplay, Plot Cons: Few if any
When I was browsing for a video game to buy my kid brother for his birthday I didn't really know what to get. There wasn't much of a selection, ranging from NBA 2K, which I knew he had, to King of Fighters. I wanted to get him a Dreamcast game, but I...

Pros: graphics (somewhat) Cons: Gameplay, story, the game.
I bought Evolution because it was the first roleplaying game for the dreamcast. Unfortunately it shows, what is wrong you ask? First the storyline, when I play an RPG I want the story to be interesting so that I keep playing. Unfortunately in...

Pros: An RPG you can actually Play instead of watch Cons: Limited amount of enemies
Poor, poor Evolution. Personally, I'd give this game a 4, without a doubt. However, many people I've talked to hate it. So I have to give it a 3. It is a very basic RPG which I found refreshing after 2 years of FMV laden interactive movies. You...

Pros: Graphics, First Dreamcast RPG Cons: Short Game, Bad Story, not worth the money
Evolution, the best-selling RPG for the Sega Dreamcast is an impulse buy for most Dreamcast RPG fans. Take me for example after owning a N64 and living through the systems absolute 0 RPG count, I have been hungry for a great RPG on my system for some...

Pros: graphics, random dungeons, characters Cons: one town, short, not much story
This game was a good effort at a dungeon RPG. The graphics are great, the premise is strong (you're a member in a family line of great adventurers), and the control is well-balanced. Complaint number 1...not enough story for a game that is supposed to...

Pros: Great characters and story idea Cons: A lot of talking between character
Evolution is good for an RPG. What really caught my eye was the cover. A great piece of art work, and in the game that is what you get. Myself I'm not really too crazy about RPG's but this one got me hooked. There are five charters and which you can be...

Pros: Great character animation, and decent CG movies Cons: way to short, and not captivating enough!
Evolution on the Dreamcast, one of the first adventure/RPG games for this system could and should have been a lot better.
The fact that the game was rushed into production didn't help this title any. I thought it could have been much better....
