Pros: Quiet, tool activated autostart/shutoff, power, reliability, durability, many accessories, great filtering, crush-proof hose Cons: -Vacuum bags can be fussy.
-My wife has contractors we hire use it :-(
I may not turn out great looking projects, or get to all the honeydos, but I excel at creating dust, shavings and general home project detritus. This vacuum has served me extremely well. I finally got tired of (more like deaf) using my shopvac and opted ...

Pros: Vacuum is quiet, powerful, auto shutoff feature is convenient. Cons: Connection between the vacuum hose and Fein sander is loose, wobbly, not dust free.
Overall, the Turbo II is a decent vacuum, but it is not totally dust free. The weak feature of this product is the connection points, especially when using the vacuum with the Fein Dust Extraction Kit/Fein MultiMaster Sander. The connection between ...

Excellent but not perfect
by DarylRos ,Aug 12 '05
Pros: Very quiet and powerful Cons: Dusty to empty
It is indeed as quiet as advertised, and as powerful. What they don't tell you is that for a truly dust free environment, you need to add the HEPA filters and the dust bag. That's because the standard filter has a lot of surface area, which aids in power, but it's a large open cone, so when you lift it off to empty the vac, a huge plume of dust results, defeating what you want to do.
It did however, work quite well. I nonetheless sold it along with some other products, and upgraded to Festool, which is a true upgrade. The Fes is just as quiet, is adjustable, is more dust free in its cleaning, and works with their systainer system, making it a pro among pros.

Go get it
by woodwrker ,Jan 08 '05
Pros: Everything Cons: -
Do not read this, go get it. I have a buisness that is ran out of my garage, where I also park the car. I do not have room for a big old dust collector, so I bought this. It has increadible suction, an will suck a 3 foot pile of shavings w/out any trouble.
It is actually quiter than any house vac I have been around, and it has a long hose, to get to your work area. The auto on and off is nice, when you sand, just plug your tool in put it on auto, and turn the tool on. It stops 15 seconds after you stop, to clear the hose. I actually use it to vacume the house if I want.
There is false advertising, it is not dust free when you empty it, otherwise its good.
