Pros: Lots of figures (animals & more), great for imaginary play Cons: No On/Off or Volume switch, ROARING!
The Little People Animal Sounds Zoo was released for the December 2001 holiday season. I searched high and low for it for Christmas but couldnt find it. As luck would have it I found it marked down after Christmas at K-Mart for under $20 and...
Pros: Great hands-on tool for learning about animals, lots of fun Cons: No Little People "visitors", strange mix of realistic and fake animal sounds
When my brother and I were kids, my parents strongly believed in the quality of Fisher-Price toys. As a result, we had many Little People sets between us. That was back in the days when the Little People were little more than a wooden cylinder with a...
Pros: mostly one piece Cons: small enclosures, ack! the monkey!
Again, Mommy brain takes over. I believe that we purchased this zoo for my son, but I am no longer entirely sure. At two, he has taken over not only all his own Fisher Price Little People, but all the sets given to his older sister as well. ...
Pros: Excellent toys that have stood the test of time Cons: No on/off switch
Our son Cameron is almost two years old and is a huge Little People fan. The Little People Animal Sounds Zoo is his absolute favorite out of the bunch. Fisher Price Little People have been around for decades, but have received a makeover in recent ...
Pros: Great price, TONS of value, terrific animal sounds, very durable Cons: Are there any? Seriously, the seal's slide needs work. That's all that is wrong!
I purchased this set for my daughter when she was only eighteen months, and it was a big hit at first. She adored all the sounds, but lacked the intellectual development to really play with it. Imaginative play is something that comes along for ...
Pros: Very Colorful Construction! Lots of Sounds and Zoo Fun! Cons: Sounds Can Be Loud!! More Fence Please! Non-Removable Monkey.
Little People fans of all sizes are going to be proud of this one! I just bought the Little People's Animal Sounds Zoo for my 2 year old (birthday present) and I haven't had a quiet day since!
Pros: Bright; Lots of figures; Inexpensive compared with rest of line Cons: Loud; Monkey attached; Too hard to bounce monkey
I am a die-hard fan of the Fisher Price Little People line. My son has more sets than I care to count. This particular set caught my attention because it seemed like an incredible value for the price. I had it figured with 7 figures and a vehicle in a...
Pros: Lots of animals and sounds. fun and colorful Cons: no place for the seal to stay. The bird is a bit irritatin
My daughter was totally in love with this toy from the moment she opened it. She loves all the animals, and the little car that the zoo keeper drives. Her favorite part is the bird, she loves to push that button over and over again. She likes to hear all...
My child had lots of fun with it. by Brad.Frazee1 ,Dec 30 '03
Pros: Animals are universal. Toy is interesting to kids. Cons: None
I think my son played with this more than any of the other Fisher Price toys. He likes all the sounds it makes. It's very durable. Like all the other Fisher Price toys, the animals are universal so kids can use them with the other toys. My son will be three in March, so he seems to be getting more interested in puzzles. This is a great toy for 1.5 to 2.5 years.
Excellent for the 1-2 year crowd by dandlmac ,Jun 28 '05
Pros: Sturdy and easy for little hands to use, fun and recognizable animal shapes and sounds Cons: Haven't found any yet!
The parts and pieces are easy to handle and operate, the sounds are accurate and seem very appealing to my 16 month old. With others, like the fun sounds carnival, the parts are difficult for them to put together and tip or fall apart easily. This one has some simple assembly and is very sturdy. The carnival is going up for sale at the garage sale next month. Highly recommend this with the baby farm animals set.
There are better Little People sets to buy by windcraze ,Jul 30 '05
Pros: The Lion, Elephant, Polar Bear, Seal, and Bird are all adorable Cons: The zoo itself is a waste.
We've gotten our money out of the set, but only buy this set if you have no other way to get the animals. There really isn't much you can do with the zoo itself. The Seal's slide doesn't work. The Monkey is attached to its pole. The Polar Bear and Lion's caves are too small to do anything with. The car is useful though.
