I purchased this model in July 2008. In November 2008 the unit leaked and it took until December 22nd for them to replace a faulty gasket (Frigidaire knew the gasket was designed faulty).

In May 2009, the dishwasher stopped working because steam had reached the main control circuitboard. I realized that this was a design flaw that affects many Frigidaire models and blogged about it. You can read about it at http://frigidairedesignflaw.blogspot.com

Avoid Frigidaire. There are so many other good brands you can go with.

I installed this dishwasher and started it, the first thing I noticed is that it was louder then the model I took out which was also a Frigidaire. This model is rated at 53db it should have been quieter. The next thing was when it went into the drying cycle there was steam getting all over the kitchen cabinets. This unit doesn't vent out the door, it vents it out the back of the machine.

Cons: inefficient loading, cleans poorly, wheels on lower rack dropped off.

I had purchased a comparable model two years before so was dissapointed when first the lower wheels came off the rack (I wired them back on). Now we often have to run the washer a few times to clean properly. Interior loading is ineffecient. Though we double check the liquid compartment it often looks like it just dribbles out. Wish I could trade with the people I sold my old home to.

I will never buy another Frigidaire product - EVER! My new Frigidaire dishwasher dies after only two months. It took them a week to get somebody out to look at it. They then informed me that it would be two more weeks before they could get parts and return to install them. I called Frigidaire and escalated up the customer service department. Each person I spoke to was more useless and uncaring than the next. They did absolutely nothing to help. They stated it was completely out of their control because the repair companies are independant contractors. What's more is that they did not seem to see anything wrong with it taking three weeks to repair a brand new appliance. Bottom line - DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING THE PRICE OR LOOKS.

UPDATE - it has been 2 months and the dishwasher is STILL NOT REPAIRED!!! These clown keep showing up and saying they have the wrong parts, etc and then don't come back for another 2 weeks. It has been broken for more time than it has been working. Frigidaire customer service is useless and has done absolutely nothing. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Don't know if this is a one-off or not, so won't bash them too much. I installed this thing myself and it worked great the first week. Now it fills the washer, indicates it is washing but does nothing, then drains the water again. I purchased the 5 year warranty because I've been told none of the dishwashers built today are built to last.

The washer looks very good although it would be better without the Frigidaire logo on the front. When you buy this unit you buy it for the clean looks so a logo just clutters that.

Working for only 1 week is pathetic, bug again, possibly a bad apple. I did like the washer when it worked.

Don't buy this...the steam vents from the bottom. As it rises, it condenses on the door and drops hot water on your floor. This is a poor quality product. We thought it was a one-off problem until we complained enough to get a second one through our dealer---same problem on the first use. I will never buy another product from this company. Their customer service sucks and many of their service reps have been rude and did not offer any potential solutions. This is a terrible design--what kind of engineer would design a dishwasher to vent hot steam in a confined space under a cabinet?

I have had this unit for about 7 months now and have had the main control panel replaced twice already.  Electrolux customer service is very slow to answer, not cooperative or helpful and a pain to deal with every few weeks.   I am trying to get a new unit, but am thinking to just get rid of this problem and dump the dishwasher in the garbage.  This is the worst quality dishwasher that I have ever purchased from a cleaning efficacy and noise standpoint.  I would be ashamed if I worked for Electrolux.
