We bought this range because the one that came with our home was a dud, couldn't use the self cleaning feature, door wonky...Anyhow, it was still working but since my husband is in the Air Force, we knew we would be moving & renting ...

Pros: One can broil in both the upper and lower ovens.
Cons: Poor quality and poor service.

This range was delivered in August of this year. From the beginning, neither the upper nor lower oven cooks at the selected temperature, the convection fan does not operate and the temperature probe does not work. As it now stands, it functions as an expensive and elaborate hot plate.

GE has made three service calls. The first technician was unable to make any adjustments without consulting my GE manual. When he returned on the third service call, he still was not able to attempt to adjust the oven without the manual. Meanwhile, GE has made no appreciable progress in correcting the problems. Nor are they yet willing to exchange it. Their policy is to exchange only after four completed service calls and they have their own unique definition of a completed service call.

Additionally, while GE service has been prompt and courteous, they appear to be unprepared/untrained to diagnose or service this new model. Their goal appears to be to show up when scheduled but they don't allocate sufficient time to see if their efforts have been effective.
